Today I worked with all the Males individually. Iggy was a star in a room he has never been in before.
I let them express themselves as some want to give interact with me straight away when in possession and others want take themselves off. I make mental notes and try and cater each play stage to each pup.
Some heel work with Hattie whilst she’s in season making the most of the 1 on 1 walking.
Last night Tucker and I had a walk down Skegness front( Las Vegas of Lincolnshire) by taking the dogs out with me on daily appointments utilising those spare 10/15 minutes gaps is great time management.
Hero doing some agility and showing great confidence. He leaves next week and will greatly missed as he is such a joy to work with.
I was at Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education today giving a talk on working dogs to new students. Hero and Hattie joined me to help deliver the presentation.
Incorporating confidence building exercises in to our play stage after a short brick work session.
After a few weeks off I have brought the labs back in to work I thought it’s important for them to just be dogs for a bit. Hero 10months old just listen to his nose working.
The I litter are developing ready to appear in September.
Floss out exploring. No issue with the open stairs 💯 #sprockersofinstagram #dogtrainingisfun #searchdogs #puppygram #policedoginthemaking
Short sharp session for Flo. With a line left to purposefully tangle her up and be annoying so she is forgiving later on when on a course and working tied down to an area. She’s 7 months and 22 days and full genetics to G’s which excites me enormously.
I apologise for the camera angle as it tilted after spraying #dogtrainingisfun #readytoflythenest #spaniels #marking #accuracywithspeed🚀
