This beauty turns double digits today! I can’t believe Daphne js 10. It’s been an eventful year with her DM diagnosis, for sure. I will admit that seeing all the memories from today, the birthday photos through the years, has made me a little sad. Especially knowing how free she was to run. BUT- despite her disability, she is still happy and sassy, as a LadyCorg is famously known to be. She’s my girl. My heart dog. She is worth everything we need to do to give her the best in her senior years. ❤️

Daphne update! Our girl is holding her own and rocking the cart now. We got her an upgraded harness that should be more comfortable and I have to do very little bribing anymore. 🤣 (sometimes I think she stalls on purpose because she knows she’ll get a carrot. 🤣) Her right leg is still pretty solid, but her left is weakening. She tends to pivot around on her butt or slide herself around on her left side. The runners aren’t helping as much as they used to. Still bossy and happy. 🙂 She’s doing the best she can possibly do given her situation! #dmsucks #corgisonwheela #corgi #corgilove #corgination #corgisofinstagram #doglife #shadeoutdm
