We currently provide a variety of metaphysical, energetic services, & artistic products. "Ikkuna" is the Finnish word for "Window", or "light". Windows are such a wonderful metaphor for portals to another world. When you look outside a window, you see a colorful & bright vastness, with endless possibilities, that is almost breathtaking (give or take if you're stuck in a small house). We also added
"White" to its name since it has all the colors of the high vibrating & palatable rainbow within it. White is often associated with light & positivity as well. Given the nature of our business, we thought the name fit perfectly=)
Ikkuna White is run by five friends. Cat knits the cutest stuffed animals. Cris designs cheery, welcoming greeting cards & products. Jiesi paints & draws life-like paintings & pictures. Anika illustrates beautiful sensual pieces of art. Emily creates homely crafts with crystals & gems. Anika & Emily also provide metaphysical & energetic services, such as Tarot readings & long-distance Reiki healings. Reiki energy can be infused in any of our products for an additional $1 per item. We have been making arts & crafts ever since we could remember. We all meet though through the High School of Art & Design in New York City. Anika & Emily have also been studying energy work & healing since they were young too. Together, they each both have over 10 years experience in doing card readings. Emily used to "heal her Mother's back" with fantastic results by using crystals & prayer when she was just 5 years old. Emily is a Reiki Master, Certified Angel Card Reader®, Angel Therapist®, & Medium certified by Doreen Virtue, PhD®, Certified Specialist of Akashic Records by Deborah King, Unicorn Energy Healing System© practitioner, & is currently also studying traditional nutrition at Lehman Collage, Quantum Touch Energy Healing, Crystal Healing at the Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy, & Shamanic Reiki at the Reiki Energy Healing Center in Boise, Idaho. We believe in treating the mind, body, & spirit for optimal health & happiness.
