Our hearts are with everyone impacted, and we're here to help however we can. Danny & Ron's Rescue will put our Disaster Relief Fund to work by supporting relief organizations helping pets and their families affected by the California wildfires. You can do the same!

🎉 Adopted! Lucky Luke Has Found His Forever Home! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share the happiest news—Luke has been adopted! Today, this sweet boy started a new chapter with his amazing new family, Theresa Schron & Frank Catalina. 🏡❤️

Luke’s journey to this moment wasn’t easy. He was surrendered to a local shelter when his previous owner could no longer care for him due to financial struggles. But thanks to the care and support from all of you, and the love of Danny & Ron’s Rescue, Luke never lost hope for a brighter future. 🌟

Thank you, Theresa and Frank, for opening your hearts to this wonderful boy. We know he’s going to bring so much joy to your lives! 🐾💖

(Wellington, Florida) Weekend Job Opportunity at the Danny & Ron's Rescue Adoption Booth!

Danny & Ron’s Rescue is seeking a reliable and energetic Adoption Booth Assistant to work Saturdays & Sundays during the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) from January 18 through March 31, 2025

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, public-facing environment and is excited about helping our dogs find loving homes.

Position: Weekend Adoption Booth Assistant
Location: Wellington, FL
Employment Term: Jan 11 through Mar 31, 2025
Days: Saturday & Sunday only
Hours: 9 AM - 4 PM
Age Requirement: 18+
Compensation: $15 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

MORNING DOG TRANSPORT: Meet the Booth Manager at Doghouse South (in Wellington) each morning at 9AM to pick up approximately six adoptable rescue dogs and transport them in our rescue van to our adoption booth at WEF. (Booth Manager drives, you ride shotgun)

ADOPTION BOOTH SUPPORT: Stay at the adoption booth throughout the day, helping to present each dog to potential adopters, sharing their stories, and answering questions from interested individuals. Assist potential adopters with completing adoption applications.

PUBLIC INTERACTION: Engage with the public, provide information about Danny & Ron’s Rescue, and encourage responsible adoption practices.

DOG WALKING & CARE: Walk the dogs as needed to keep them happy and comfortable and monitor their well-being while they are at the booth.

END OF DAY DUTIES: Help close the booth at 3:00 PM, drive with Booth Manager to bring the dogs back to The Doghouse South, where they can unwind and play in the outdoor area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

FRIENDLY & OUTGOING: MUST be comfortable speaking with the public and representing Danny & Ron’s Rescue in a positive, engaging manner.

PHYSICALLY ACTIVE Must be physically active and strong enough to lift a 50lb dog into the back of an SUV and be able to hand walk dogs.

DOG CARE SKILLS: Experience working with dogs is a plus! Candidates should be attentive, gentle, and responsible.

I’m an older gal who knows what I want:
🐾 A calm, cozy home where I can relax and be a loyal couch potato by your side.
🐾 Plenty of love, cuddles, and companionship—I thrive when I’m close to my people.
