Bintan Black Dragons!

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a truly unique water monitor. This is the first time that the “bintan black dragon” has been available in Canada. Different from the more common black dragons often seen in the hobby, the bintan black dragon retains a full body black appearance with subtle yellow speckling arranged in bands as adults.

We currently have a limited number of these beautiful miniature water monitors. If you like the idea of an Asian water monitor, but don’t want to deal with a 6’-7’ giant, these may be for you. They have all the personality of their Asian water monitor cousins, but in a much smaller package.

Varanus celebensis refers to the North Sulawesi water monitor, a subspecies of the common water monitor (Varanus salvator) found in Indonesia, specifically on the island of Sulawesi. It's also known as the Sulawesi water monitor.

I have one gorgeous Varanus cumingi left available. These awesome animals were produced by Mason Barnes in the USA and are the best of the best. Mason suspected this animal to be female, but not guaranteed. Included in the pictures is an animal from an older clutch of Mason’s, to give you an idea of how his animals turn out.
