Canadian Coldblood We have been keeping and breeding reptiles for over 15 years and have strived to produce the highest quality captive bred animals.

We have a particular interest in Varanids (monitor lizards), but enjoy working with many species of lizard both large and small. We are dedicated to the health and welfare of reptiles in captivity and go to great lengths to ensure their well being before and after every sale. All of our reptiles are produced in healthy, sanitary environments that ensure the quality of each animal. We take pride in

I thought I’d share this picture. This has been a goal of mine since I started working with tree monitors. To have produced all 6 species, and to have them concurrently for this great photo opportunity. Thank you to all my valued customers and friends for your support over the years. It’s been a long time coming. The journey with these tree monitors has been one of ups and downs and a lot of learning along the way. But now I can add another milestone to this incredible path with the hatching of these beautiful Varanus boehmei (Gold Spotted Tree Monitor). To date I have successfully bred, incubated and hatched all 6 species from this incredible complex. In my opinion, tree monitors are the pinnacle of everything you want in a reptile. They are beautiful, intelligent, social, a great size, and they can form an amazing bond with their keepers if you get a captive bred animal, and bypass wild collected or farmed individuals. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along this journey. The future looks bright for captive breeding of these incredible animals.

Tree monitor jail break part two. This green tree monitor is a little more hesitant than its yellow tree counterpart.

What timing! Opened the incubator today only to find a blue tree monitor making the first few slits in its egg shell with its egg tooth as it began the process of hatching. I apologize for the long video, but thought I should document the process as most keepers rarely actually witness this.
