කැනඩාවේ ලුසී ඇතිනිය 🌱🐘.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජයේ පරිත්‍යාගයක් ලෙසින් කැනඩාවට ලැබුනු ලුසී යනු වර්තමානයේ බොහෝසෙයින් කතා වන මාතෘකවක් බවට පත් වී ඇත. Protect Elephants World Global Association ලේකම් වන මම කැනඩාවේ ටොරොන්ටෝ නගරයේ ජීවත් වන අයෙකු වශයෙන් ද එඩ්මන්ටන් නුවර සත්වෝද්‍යාන වෙත ලුසීව බැලීමට ගිය අයෙකු වශයෙන් ද ලුසී පිලිබදව මම මෙලෙසින් ඔබ දැනුවත් කරමි .
ලුසී ඇස් වලින් දැක , ඇයගේ තත්ත්වය සමග සත්වෝද්‍යාන වෛද්‍යවරුන් සහ නිලධාරීන් සමග සාකච්ඡා කල අයෙකු ලෙසින් මා හට පැවසිය හැක්කේ ලුසී ඉතාමත්ම සැපවත් ලෙසින් ජීවත් වන ඇතින්නියක් ලෙසය. ලුසීහට ඇයගේ ගර්බාශයේ ගෙඩියක් පවතින අතර එය හේතුවෙන් ඇයගේ දිවි තවත් වසර 10කට පමණක් වෛද්‍යවරුන් නිගමනය කොට ඇත. එම ගෙඩිය ශල්‍යකර්මයක් මගින් ඉවත්කිරීමට සැලසුම් කලත් එය නොහැකි වූයේ ලුසීගේ පවතින ශ්වසන ආබාධිත තත්ත්වය හේතුවෙනි. ලුසී හුස්ම ගනු ලබන්නෙ 70%ක් පමනම කටින් වන අතර ඇයගේ සොඩයේ කිසියම් බාධකයක් ඇත. ශල්‍යකර්මය උදෙසා සිහිසුන් කලහොත් නැවත සිහිය පැමිනෙන්නේ නැතැයි යන සැකය මත ශල්‍යකර්මය නවත්වා ඇත.
එබැවින් කැනඩා රජය විසින් ඇයට හැකි උපරිම සැප සම්පත් ලබාදී ඇත. ඇය වෙනුවෙන් ම උණුසුම් කල කුටියක්, වෛද්‍යවරුන් , ආහාර ඇතුලු සියලූම සැප සම්පත් ඇය වෙත ලබාදී ඇත.එය එකම දම්වැලකින් හෝ බැද නැත. නිදහසේ ඇවිදිමින් සිටින අලියෙකි. එඩ්මන්ටන් නුවර වෙත ගොස් ඇය කිහිපවරක්ම ඇස් වලින් දුටු අයෙකු වශයෙන් මම එය සනාථ කරමි.
එමෙන්ම කැනඩාව යනු සත්ව අයිතිවාසිකම් පිලිබදව උපරිම ලෙසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන රටකි. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට එය පිලිබදව සිතීමට වත් හැකියාවක් නැත. ලුසීව කිසිම ස්ථානයකට ප්‍රවාහනය කිරීමට නොහැකිය. එයට හේතුව ඇයගේ සෞඛ්‍ය තත්වයයි. එබැවින් කැනඩාවේ සිටින එකම අලියා වන ඇය උපරිමයෙන් සැපවත් ලෙසින් සුරක්ශිත කිරීමට රජය නිරන්තරයෙන්ම කටයුතු කරනු ඇත.මේ පිලිබදව මීට වසරකට පෙර සත්වෝද්‍යාන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ද Protect Elephants World Global Association අප දැනුවත් කරන ලදී.
එබැවින් රජ සැපවිදින ලුසී ගැන සිතන්න පෙර ලංකාවේ දුක් විදින හීලෑ අලි, වන අලි පිලිබදව ලක්වැසියන් අවධානය යොමු කරන මෙන් ඉල්ලමි. ප්‍රථමයෙන්ම තමන්ගේ රටේ සත්තු ටික රැකගන්න, පසුව හැකි ලුසීව බලාගන්න 🙂.

Lucy is from Canada 🌱🐘.
Lucy, which was given to Canada as a donation by the Sri Lankan government, has become a much-talked-about topic today. As the secretary of Protect Elephants World Global Association, I am informing you about Lucy as someone who lives in Toronto, Canada and as someone who visited Lucy at the zoo in Edmonton.
As someone who has seen Lucy with her own eyes and discussed her condition with the zoo doctors and officials, I can say that Lucy is living a very comfortable life. Lucy has a tumor in her uterus and doctors have given her only 10 years to live. Although plans were made to remove the tumor through surgery, it was not possible due to Lucy's existing respiratory condition. Lucy breathes only 70% through her mouth and has some blockage in her mouth. The operation was stopped on the suspicion that if he was made unconscious for the operation, he would not regain consciousness.
So the Government of Canada has given her the best possible comforts. All comforts including a heated room, doctors, food have been provided to her. As someone who has been to Edmonton and seen her several times, I can attest to that. Also, Canada is a country that works best for animal rights. Sri Lanka is not even able to think about it. Lucy cannot be transported anywhere. The reason for that is her health condition. Therefore, the government will constantly work to protect her, who is the only elephant in Canada, as well as possible. About this, the Department of Zoos and the Protect Elephants World Global Association informed us about this a year ago.
Therefore, before thinking about the happy queen Lucy, I request the people of Sri Lanka to pay attention to the suffering tame elephants and wild elephants in Sri Lanka. First take care of the animals in your country, then take care of Lucy 🙂.
