Hearthfire Animal Rescue Team - HART Sometimes people need to find a pet a new home. Sometimes they need help providing for their pet. We

People have all sorts of reasons for needing to find a new home for a pet. They may be going through a difficult personal challenge or a life change, they may have rescued an animal without intending to keep it over the long term, or there may be conflicts between different pets in the home. Whatever the reason, HART is here to help people who are willing to make an extra effort to find their pet

a really good home, but may not have the experiences or the resources to be able to do it. HART is made up of people with years of experience in rescue, and a strong commitment to helping people rehome their pets. We have developed a full range of documentation (application forms, adoption contracts, etc), and we have an online presence with sites that are accessible only to registered rescues. We are in process of getting our 501(c)3 (non-profit) registration. We are a volunteer-based no-profit organization, and there is no charge for our services. We do require that an adoption fee be charged, and this is either paid to HART or shared between HART and the releasing owner, agreed upon on a case by case basis. Any income we receive is used to continue helping animals in need in the Tri-Cities and surrounding regions.
