How to social distance when visiting me.
IMPORTANT:
Steps to take when arriving for your appointment below, please make sure you read them carefully or watch this video.
The garden has been rearranged in order to aid social distancing so please make sure you let your dogs go to the toilet before coming in, as the available garden space has now been reduced.
Only one person to drop off/pick up your dog.
1. Please make sure you turn up to your appointment on time. Please walk your dog on the grass outside to let them go to the toilet before your appointment. If you’re early please wait in your car and do not ring the doorbell till your exact appointment time given (I will not let you in beforehand).
2. Once you ring the bell, please step back, I will unlock the gate and then move behind a secondary gate in the garden, once I have told you it is safe to “come in” please do so (doorbell and gate will be disinfected every time it’s used).
3. Once you are in the garden please stay behind the low gate. There is a lead hanging off the wall that you will need to attach your dog’s collar to and then remove your own lead, flea collars and harnesses and take them with you.
4. Once you have attached your dog to the lead and removed your own lead, please step well back to the main gate, there are two lines near the gate creating a box, please stand in this box. I will then take your dog my side of the low gate, remove collar and hang it on the fence. You can then take your collar back with you, please remember to bring all these accessories back with you on collection.
5. Then you can leave once your dog is safely in my fenced area. You will not be allowed in the salon during this time of social distancing.
6. On collection the same rules above apply but in reverse. Ring gate, step back, wait to be told to come in, and then put your dog back on your lead and leave.

I'm always saying how I like to build a bond and trust with your dogs, I don't push or force them into anything, I listen to their body language, I give them breaks and do bits of training with them. Take Skip as an example, he's always wanted to play, jump of the table and not sit still, it's taken a few sessions and now look at him, falling over as he was drifting away to sleep, this is what I aim for and I love seeing the end results ⭐
