Welcome back Florida Winter! Goooood bye frigid northern temperatures! We will resume regular shipping Monday. Everything we couldn't send out this week due to the temps WILL go out Monday and from the there we will be able to go back to our normal shipping schedule that you're use to!

Thank you so much for hanging in there with us as we all navigated through this unusual mess! We leave you with the temperatures at our house this morning! Gooood riddance!

It looks like Mother Nature will get her act together Saturday and we'll be able to ship out and hopefully go back to a NORMAL shipping schedule come Monday! This weather has been for the Birds!!

Hi Everyone,

I know we complained about it being really cold the last 2 weeks but Mother Nature apparently went "Hold my Beer" and really decided to give us some nasty ARTIC freezing temperatures (I mean 10's and 20's in FLORIDA?!?!). We did a check to see whom we can safely ship to, but there are a few of you where the temperatures are just too low and no heat pack can fight those temperatures. We've sent emails to those Customers who are affected by this.

I love where we live here in Hastings, FL because we DO get all 4 seasons but NO ONE asked for actual northern winter temperatures. You all know that winter in Florida usually means the occasional down in the 40's at night in a normal year! This is just too cold, we can't even cope with this LOL Stay warm!!

Due to MLK day the Post Office will be closed and we will not be able to ship until Tuesday.

Now that the weather has stopped being so temperamental, we feel comfortable going back to our regular shipping days. We also just put Breeder Kits back in the store. On Top of that... Savings Tuesdays will now have 15% off every week instead of 10%. This change is a permanent one!

PS: These Guys in our garden also enjoy the occasional Discoid ;)

We were able to ship out all orders that couldn't go out this week, and that came in before 9am this morning. We will ship on Monday per our regularly scheduled shipping days. Some of you didn't need a Heat pack, and a lot of orders did, so to ensure our insects travel nice and warm and, most importantly, arrive alive, we added 72-hour heat packs to those boxes (we just got a fresh batch in - we always check the use by date on every heat pack - so we're confident they will warm as expected). As always, should there be any issue with your shipment and the cold weather, please DM us here or drop us an email so we can fix it :)

Thank you so much, everyone, for hanging in there with us through this cold Arctic nonsense. We hope Mother Nature has, for the most part, gotten her temper in check and will bring us back to the lovely winter weather we're used to in Florida!

Just.... NO! We can't even cope with the 25F windchill this morning! LOL

Luckily our Roaches are nice and snug in their heated barns and while it's a little cooler than their normal temps in there right now, they are still in a comfortable 80F.

With the Weather being so cold, we're holding off shipping since there is no way your Tropical Roaches will make it to you alive, as we're having consistent nighttime temps in the mid-30s and below. As the forecast stands right now, the first decent enough weather we get to ship is Friday, January 10th. Sorry, folks. We much prefer Mother Nature get off her cold trip, too, but here we are... she isn't listening to us either!

If you currently have an order outstanding, you can choose one of the following:
1. Wait it out with us.
2. Email us and let us know you would prefer a refund.

We know that this is an inconvenience, and we apologize. We raise our roaches with a lot of love and care, and there is no reason to take a chance and unnecessarily lose insect lives.

The Post Office just informed us that due to President Carter's passing, all post Offices will be closed on Thursday, January 9th, so we will definitely not be shipping that day.

Quick Heads up, we WILL ship tomorrow for sure so if you need Roaches before it likely get's too cold to ship this coming week, now is the time to order. We're not shipping anything that comes in after 8am EST tomorrow.

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year! With the Arctic front forecasted to reach Florida this coming week, we will likely not be able to ship due to the low temperatures and the zero survival rate of our insects when highs don't reach above the mid-50s, and nighttime temperatures are said to be in the 30s. (Why, oh, why does this always have to happen when we come back from vacation!?)

Please be mindful of that when purchasing Discoids from our store. There may be a rather long delay until it is safe to ship them out. Please be mindful of that prior to ordering.
