Pictured below is our later summer litter - seal mitted, solid black/seal bicolour, an adorable tortie and what I think is a cream bicolour - he'll be our first of that colour if that's correct.... a rarer beauty 😍

Our first glimpse of our cutie pies .....day old babies.... you cant tell now from the photos, but this is a wide range of brillant beautiful colours.... ragdolls typically are born white (unless if mink/ sepia or solid coloured) and slowly transform and develop into their colour points... I can not wait to see these beauties transform into their gorgeous selves ❤️

I just adore him... I can not wait until mainecoon babies arrive.. we are hoping for our first litter maybe for December.... I want to share their lovely personalities with just everyone... I couldnt ask for a better bestie - I want every child to have the opportunity to have a mainecoon friend... they truly are gentle giants!

Information update :
I know that I have had this discussion with all of my families as to the reasons our babies do not go home altered...we stay current to the advancements and updates of the health and wellbeing of our animals and we have found that we here in the North always seem to be a few steps behind other countries....

So I was glad to see this announcement.. any cattery altering at an early age is not doing so for the benefit of that animal or they are making uneducated decisions for that baby...doing this procedure at an early age will cause harm. In some form or another down the road... please ask lots of questions when looking around for your next furbaby. These sorts of decisions are life altering for that baby....

"The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) has just announced their new spay & neuter guidelines. Due to growing evidence of adverse health effects of traditional gonadectomy (spay/neuter) and increases in cancers and joint disorders, WSAVA suggest the best practice for RESPONSIBLE pet parents is to leave dogs and cats unaltered (intact). Additionally noting, spaying or neutering a dog/cat younger than 6 months of age is NOT recommended because of an increase of detrimental health risks. Acknowledging in some circumstances, such as rescues and shelters, where leaving an animal intact is not an option, they stress the importance of education and acceptance of newer, alternative sterilization techniques that have less long-term health concerns".

We have some exciting news to share...
This little lady will be making her way here to us in about 2 weeks time.... we are thrilled to give her a special home where she will be adored and to be able to offer our families Mainecoons in the very near future.
