Bug and Lora last weekend at Dressage at Devonwood. Thank you to all of my clients for allowing me to live my dream every day. New Balance Training will have an opening for a training horse September 1st. Wonderful facility with large covered arena, premier footing, heated tack room, all day pasture turnout, 12x12 stalls with runs, grass and/or alfalfa offered, owner supplied supplements fed at no charge, owner and barn staff live on site. New Balance Training will have an opening for a training horse or lesson client May 1st. Fabulous private facility in Monroe, located minutes from downtown. Large covered arena with premier footing that is maintained daily, 12x12 stalls with 40’ runs, all day mud free pasture turnout, horses fed alfalfa and/or grass hay, heated tack room. Fabulous care, owner and caretaker live on site.

All day pasture turnout. 75x170’ covered arena with Premier footing. Heated tack room. Grass and/or alfalfa fed 3x/day. Owner provided supplements fed 2x/day. Small trail system around property. Offering full or partial training, as well as weekly lessons. Fun, supportive barn environment that focuses on correct horsemanship and dressage theory. Many references. Maggie Thompson and Fynn 🦄 (Furstenball x Florestan) bred by Josef Schulze, are the 2023 Training Level Adult Amateur Reserve Champions! 🥳 2nd in the nation their first season together. 👏🏼 They had a great ride today. Thank you to everyone for your support and cheering them on from home. Thank you to Caryn Bujnowski for the opportunity to purchase this fabulous gelding back in March. And thank you to Maggie for allowing me to come on this journey with you. I am so proud of all your hard work and how far you’ve come. ❤️ We all head home tomorrow. Fynn will have a little vacation, then its time to work hard to prepare for next season. 💪🏼

Maggie Thompson and Fynn are 10th in the nation at 1st level! Fynn started out the test as a spicy jalapeno, but Maggie did a fabulous job at taming the dragon. So proud of these two. In less than a year together they have not only qualified for finals, but held their own in a big class. Tomorrow they ride their training level championship class to close out their 2023 season. 🤩

For a split second this horse will make you feel like you know what you’re doing. 🥰 Thank you to Jennifer Williams Dressage for making Millione the rockstar that he is. And thanks to Jen and Thunder Ridge Sport Horses for allowing me to learn from this horse. We still have a long way to go, but I’m excited for next year, and promise to do my homework this winter. 🙏🏼

Such a fun weekend for the New Balance Training crew at the Whidbey Equestrian Center finals!
Lightning JDK owned by Thunder Ridge Sport Horses was overall champion at 1st level, and overall reserve champion at training level in the open division.
Maggie Thompson’s Fynn was overall champion at both 1st and training level in the amateur division.
Cassandra McFarland’s Fibonacci won his class yesterday and continues to get stronger in the 2nd level work.
Thank you to everyone at WEC for all of your hard work and sharing your beautiful venue with us.
Next stop: GAIG/USDF Region 6 Championships & Cascade Dressage Championships!

Super happy how this weekend went. Bug and I didn’t need scores, but we needed miles. So we went to WEC…and won both of our classes. 🥳 Saturday he came out and rode a solid training level test. Today was 1st level. I was hot and tired. Bug was hot and tired. I felt like a sloppy pilot for the whole warm up. But he stepped up to the plate today. Thank you, Bug. I owe ya buddy. ❤️ Also thank you to Thunder Ridge Sport Horses for all your support and trusting me to bring this talented horse along. 🙏🏼

This horse 🥰 He started out the weekend like a champ at a big venue that he had never been to. He was pretty looky in the ring on day one. But over the course of the show, his scores came up significantly, and we ended the weekend winning a big class with a 70%. Thank you to Thunder Ridge Sport Horses for allowing me to campaign him. He already has a fan club, and I’m definitely a member. 😂 We still have a lot of homework before champs, but he is qualified at two levels, and I cant wait to see how the rest of the season goes. 🤩

Horses are all settled in at The Stables at Magnolia Ridge. Looking forward to working at this beautiful facility, and being a little closer to home. We currently have a waitlist for training horses, but do have openings for school horse lessons, as well as haul in lessons. New Balance Training has several horses available for full or partial lease. On site only. Located at Sky River Equestrian Center in Sultan. Weekly lessons required.

#1. Sebastian is a 15h Welsh/Tb gelding. 1st level dressage. Forward and sensitive but sensible. Appreciates a rider with a good seat and quiet hands. Showing options available.

#2. Zorra is a 15.2 Andalusian/QH mare. 2nd level dressage. More of a push ride. Not mare-ish.

Half lease is 3 days a week. Full lease is 6 days a week. Facility has large indoor arena, and access to trails. Fun, supportive environment.

Jessica Alvarado’s Teachers Pet finished his first show season on a high note, winning the training level open at the Whidbey Equestrian Center finals. This horse is Dante’s ‘little’ brother, and has been in the program since he was a yearling. It has been so rewarding to see this horse grow up and become a show horse. Thank you Jessica for allowing me to develop this horse and be a part of his journey. He has taught me a lot in the last 3 years, and I’m so proud of how far he has come. ❤️
