I had a simply super time at CIAT (which stands for Chestnut In Action Time) Tismans.

The daft Hackney stepped aside, what’s new? He’s rarely in a straight line, and I shone ⭐️

I met my Merioneth cousin too, pure quality but what do you expect?

I think the woman had forgotten to take her hay fever meds as she was very watery eyed during the prize giving and has kept kissing me today 😘😘

So here is my news.........

I will be back in the shafts and going to CIAT Tismans!!

After watching (and trying to join in) Attelage at Sandringham last year, it looks right up my alley. The woman has been gradually increasing my mileage and I am well up for it. Apparently, we are going to enjoy ourselves and not worry about the competition side of it but that’s what she thinks.

I appear to have had more farewell tours than The Rolling Stones but as they say, you can’t keep a good man down!

25 years ago today at Exeter market, I met the woman for the first time.

She apparently paid a very small sum for such quality but I must say she has been a pretty good slave over the years.

My last post as we have reached the final month of my 25 years of fabulous.
Thank you to all my Moesonettes who have followed this year, I love you all and hope to see lots of you leading up to the festivities, with a carrot of course!
From the past, I have had a fabulous old time, been loved by many and always had everything I needed.
For the future, I wish the same for all my four legged friends.
May your beds be deep, your food be plentiful and your cuddles filled with love.

Well it’s time for my penultimate post of my 25 years of fabulous and it’s definitely Autumn.
The woman has turned us away for our holidays and I am slowly regaining my Welsh woollens. I have some attractive spikey leggings soon to be feathers, a Mohican and a beard so ‘bring it on’ winter.
Most of my life has been spent without a stable as I preferred to be out but for my late teens and twenties, the woman decided I should have a warm bed at night so I allowed it.
We are still out at night currently as I am in charge of helping the daft Hackney cope with the fireworks but my stable awaits from next week and I’m rather looking forward to it.

Post 10 of my celebratory year and this month saw my return to my public.

Since the upstart graduated to his new home, it has just been myself and the daft Hackney at home. When he is off competing for the weekend, I get to go too as the woman feels I would be lonely left behind.
Whilst I enjoy the odd afternoon snoozing alone in the paddock without his constant dramas (‘OMG, that squirrel is coming for me’ ‘Did you see that MASSIVE leaf’ or Quick,run it’s a cat/twig/acorn,
I do love being back on the circuit.

After the Sandringham ‘incident’, the woman decided I had better have a job on these weekends so for the last two shows of the season, I donned my tandem gear again but this time I’m in front where I belong.

Anyone would think I had it planned all along 🤣🤣

Post 9 of my 25 years of fabulous and I am delighted.
After my protest at Sandringham, the woman has finally seen sense and told me I will be coming to the last two shows of the season.
Not as a mere companion for lesser equines but as a tandem leader! I am so suited to this role as I am out front being admired plus The woman says it is easier for me in my older years, Pah!
Just wait until I get in that show ring, I will display just how ‘old’ I am!
Sit up and smile mother, I’m back!

Post 8 of my 25 years of fabulous and I have a red tint to my blaze when I tell you that my new name is Spy (that’s Small Pony of the Year)

Apparently, the man and woman got to dress up and collect my award for me, cheek!
I assume it was to reward my super good looks but looking back, I have done quite a bit.
If you asked me to pick my favourites then it would be my young drivers but don’t tell the woman!

Month 7 of my 25th year celebrations and it’s by Royal Appointment. I am at Sandringham but apparently I’m just the ‘companion’ What a Cheek!!!
I showed the humans what I thought of that yesterday by busting out of my stable and galloping after them and the daft Hackney on their way to the presentation stage.
There was a right fuss and lots of people shouting and running around with head collars but once I got to them, I placed myself quietly by the shafts ready to see my public.
Apparently, that was highly embarrassing and I ought to bloody well behave myself, no chance!
I have two bales of straw and a lead rope securing the door now and I’m only allowed out with the man for grass and a leg stretch. Disgraceful.

June already so here is my sixth post from my 25th year.
It would seem fitting that yesterday the young upstart left for good to a lovely new driving trials home as
I myself dabbled in this discipline several times.
A few times with the woman (who delightful as she is, is no good at all) and then with a fabulous young lady who was very talented and we ended up at the Nationals no less.
Don’t ever tell mother but I really rather enjoyed it!

Post 5 and my manly locks were pretty impressive. I got away with having this much mane by being a complete #***!! when the woman tried to pull it.
Of course now, I am much more relaxed about mane pulling and only need pillar reins, Sedalin and at least three packets of extra strong mints
