Bookish Candles is a small candle making business in San Francisco. I burn a lot of candles (small apartment, smelly cat) and I read a lot of books.
One day I decided to combine these two loves and voila! Bookish Candles was born. I take great pride in making high quality, exceptionally fragranced candles that remind me of my favorite literary characters and their worlds. So take a stroll through my virtual candle shop, remember your own favorite literary exploits, and pick up a candle or two for the road. After all, our endeavors and adventures are short, and we must choose to enjoy every moment to the fullest.

Excited for kiddos with costumes tomorrow! I've seen so many cute costumes this weekend already, my favorite was a tiny little guy in a ninja turtle costume so big his shell was trailing behind him like a royal train.
I'd like to answer the most common question I've gotten this Fall... YES! Christmas at Hogwarts is making a return this year! I will begin stocking it around mid-November. I'm still savoring October with the pumpkin pie, the crisp air, and the fact that I can buy 30lbs of candy and everyone just assumes it's "for the kids" 😉🎃
