Funny and entertaining pictures I randomly find on the internet I take no credit for other than sharing with you. My personal birds can all be found in the photo albums sections of this page and most of the funny pictures that I make I will label. Now here is a little information so that you can all understand what it is that I do, as so many have mistaken me for an adoption center.. Difference Between Avian Sanctuaries and Avian Rescue Groups
Avian Rescue Groups and Avian sanctuaries are often confused. Although a lot of sanctuaries have characteristics of avian rescue groups, they are not the same. Rescue groups have a more temporary while sanctuaries are permanent. Rescue groups are designed to temporarily house lost, homeless, or abandoned birds. Rescue groups often allow people to adopt and remove birds. On the other hand, sanctuaries provide a permanent residence to animals. Since the main purpose of sanctuaries is safe haven for animals, sanctuaries rarely allow adoption. Birds rarely leave the grounds of the sanctuary and become permanent residents. Dragons Crazy Bird Sanctuary - is a Sanctuary and none of my birds here are adoptable. I limit the number of birds
kept here to 10 due to the current space provided and finances. Dragons Crazy Bird Sanctuary NEVER asks for donations and covers all
financial cost of her birds and their care personally. This is due
to the fact that these birds are permanent residents and I do not feel right asking other to pay for my birds. I rescued them, took them in, I gave them sanctuary, it is my responsibility. I do however fully support donating to rescue groups who need the help! I do occasionally have people come to me with birds that need to be rehomed. If they are in my local area ( Central Missouri ) I will help with their adoptions. This is very rare - but I will post when any thing comes available. If you need a bird rehomed or would like to adopt and you are not in my area, I will do my best to help you contact some one in your area that can help you.
