Say hello to Koolaid! Koolaid is a hybrid macaw who is looking for a forever home to land in. Due to his size and energy needs we do require his adopter to provide an adequately sized enclosure- namely a walk-in aviary. Happy gotcha day to our Jobi and Mango. Here's what their adopted mom had to say:
Jobi is very happy and especially loves peanuts as treats, doing upside down flips on her cage, the Disney movies Moana and Robin Hood, and squawking back and forth with her conure brother.
Mango arrived as a foster and was initially pretty distrustful of people. Once he saw that he was safe he got over his trust issues pretty quickly! He’s now very much a “Velcro bird”, never wanting to be very far from his mom. He enjoys his morning squawks with his birdy sister and loves watching Toy Story and cheeping back and forth with his birdy brother.

Meet Becker! Becker is very active and enjoys exercising his wings in flight during out of cage time. His former owner noted that Becker can be very selective about who can handle him and that he will require an experiened home with a lot of paitence. Becker is just settling in to his foster home and we are looking forward to updating his bio further as his foster mom gets to know him.

Burd and Callie are well loved by their most recent owners. The owning family has been experiencing major life changes and have recognized that their parrots deserve a healthy, stable environment that they can no longer provide. Thus, the owners made the heartbreaking decision to surrender the birds to PEARL Parrot Rescue to find a loving new home.

Meet Pekos! He’s an amazing talker and loves chewing toys and watching TV, but Pekos is sensitive and needs a patient, experienced owner. He’s working on being more comfortable outside his cage. Pekos' foster mom reports that "He given me kisses and lets me scratch his head on his terms, and will need an owner that will be very patient. He has been here for 6 months now and I can see a world of improvement in him."
