So here’s a fun story! Rocky was an $800 Kijiji find that I took a chance on and drove 6 hours one way to pick up. I started him under saddle and it was very apparent he had a ton of athleticism and talent…but also was not an easy ride! I put him up for sale a couple months later as my life circumstances changed, knowing I may well regret it. A lovely lady from Seattle was interested and sent her niece to take a look at him for her. Well, he bucked me off in the showing. And then he went on to “fail” his PPE. The lady still went on to purchase him, and he’s now running FEI 2* and is such a cool ambassador for the Morgan breed 🤩

Such a special moment...can’t thank Riley Harvey enough for the 60 days he put on this dude. From an untouched ex-bronc to this...pretty unbelievable! Took the big dude on a ride out in the hills yesterday and out pushing cows this morning, he’s such a worker and just the nicest gentleman on the ground. Couldn’t be happier 💗 Excited for the adventures to come!

Not to be over-shadowed by his big handsome brother, this handsome fella has been coming along slowly but surely. He’s the most challenging horse I’ve ever worked with - coming mostly unhandled and terrified of basically everything in life; so it’s taken me many hours of patience to get him to this point. He’ll be worth it though, and has already taught me so much.

Time to introduce another newbie to the team! Bought this guy on a whim about 6 weeks ago as I desperately needed a companion for my mare. He had very minimal handling, and needed a lot of weight coming out of winter.

After a few weeks of lots of patience and love, he now basically falls asleep for grooming and adores attention. He’s also a massive, powerful mover and has athletism for days - eventer’s dream!

I’ve become pretty smitten with this guy, and am looking forward to putting another month on him before turning him out to grow (sticked him at 16h at the front and 16.2h at the back today! Biggest horse I’ve ever owned! 😂)

First day of bootcamp for this hunk! Watched the session yesterday and seems like he has a great mind - is sensitive but sensible and willing to please. Excited to see him progress!

Very excited to introduce the new addition! 4yr old draft X. Bred to be a bucking horse, but (apparently!) can’t buck! Looking forward to bringing this guy along after he gets home from 30 days at a c**t starter’s (I have no desire to halterbreak this beast 😂)! Name suggestions welcomed!
