Haulin' Buns decided at the last minute to head to Hutchinson KS for the last show of 2024. MAN GLAD I WENT
Don't remember all the placings as it was 5 shows. ( 3 all breeds on Saturday and 1 all breed & 1 Mini Rex Specialty)

I took only Shadeds
ALL 5 Shows BOG (Several different breeders )
4 BOSG Shaded
And the BEST AND MOST EXCITING 😳😳 NEWS.- The All breed shows had close to 70 in each show 💙💙💙

So thankful for the friendship and team effort we have made with Craig Zwahlen and Michelle de la Paz in stepping up the game and most of all the judges for recognizing the shaded and letting them step up to the Spot Light and Shine . No more hiding in the SHADE.

This weekend is gathering up all my supplies for convention. (Scrubbing and bleaching)
1. Carriers
2. Feed cups
3. Greasing up the wheels on my cart
4. Gathering up show supplies
5. Stocked up on feed (gotta love small town feed store- as if my feeders run out of feed they will deliver extras)
6. Tattoo ones that need touch up or needed
7. Printing pedigrees
8. Cage Finder Tags
9. Feed & Hay buckets
10. And the list goes on and on and on...

Haulin' Buns took a trip to Alexandria LA
LMRRC Specialty &.3 All Breed shows.
4 Breed wins & 4 Opposite wins
& a 2nd Reserve in Show. Show ran late and I finally rolled in at 1am.
Bunny Show HANG OVER big time.

Before you complain about a breeders pricing, the cost of rabbits, etc , try to take in to account the cost to get those babies on the ground and in a condition to where it can be sold or shown. The cost to feed and maintain a quality rabbits, the cost to feed and maintain the rabbitry, purchase price of those animals, medicine, feed, water, supplements when needed, new AC units, entry fees, etc. I personally do not negotiate with breeders when buying an animal, if I can’t afford what they are trying to sell me or think their price is too high I politely say thank you that’s a bit out of my budget. It costs a lot of money to raise these animals, don’t cut yourself short and don’t expect a breeder to do the same. Build a relationship/partnership with a breeder, promote them, learn from them! And most of all if you win a purchased rabbit give that breeder a shout out when you post your wins.
