Mom noticed right when I hatched that I was special. There's something different about my head... but she fell in love with me right away! I didn't eat for the first 2 weeks of my life. I couldn't see and catch those itty-bitty crickets! Mom was really sad and didn't think I would make it. Then Grandma told her to try feeding me baby food. Mom went out right away and bought me some turkey baby foo
d (there wasn't any cricket baby food) and started to feed me. At first feeding was really difficult and mom had to pry my mouth open. But after a week we figured it out pretty good. Now I'm eating a lot better and I'm growing big! At 2 weeks old I was 2 grams and so small Mom couldn't see my face very well. Now I'm 3 grams and Mom is sure she can see me small pretty eyes! I am a survivor and love life! Some of my favorite things to do is sit on my basking log and look pretty, take baths in a Cool-Whip lid, and run around my home!
