COASTER 3rd year running in the Top 10 .

Recognized by breeder judges and all rounders alike , taking on top competition around the US in Breed and groups . Thank you to our fans and support of friends and family.

This year we really only showed Hard from March - May taking most of the summer off, then hit the road for a month in September. A few shows Oct - Early December . To live in the PNW and consistently be in the top rankings is more work than most will ever know.

As we head in to 2024 Coaster will make a few appearances at select shows . The journey continues.

To avoid miserable traffic we left Bellingham at 8:30pm and drove back up free to Vancouver WA to Mom's. Stopped 2x and got set up and dogs ran and fed... Yes it's almost ,2am and yes I'm having a glass of wine because I was driving Mr Daisy who is the WORST back seat driver ever yet didn't want to drive lol...

4 dogs had Christmas baths and I packed the RV and cleaned the house and drove the 4.5 hours down so cheers to me lol.

Christmas Eve is Today and we gather with family. Every One who is still traveling for Christmas have a safe journey and enjoy your Holiday time off.

Stats are out through Nov 30 2023 and Coaster with very limited showing since late May is #2 ALL BREED and #5 BREED.

I'm so proud of this boy. Consistently placing in groups and winning over TOP breed competition all over the country this year. What a FUN RYDE we've been having.

Huh.. Fun Fact of the day I found while researching an answer to a Client's question about NOHS levels.

Nick-L... GCHS Blackwater Peloton Heads I Win is #14 LIFETIME ranked NOHS for Tervuren.. This was after only two short years showing him in NOHS... He also qualifies for NOHS Silver ranking, just missing the GOLD Ranking by under 250 points.

I'm no longer eligible to show in NOHS since I've gone back to handling professionally but I highly encourage those that are , to take advantage of the program. It has become highly competitive in its own right and eventually I see AKC giving a NOHS Championship award (which I have been a champion of for years now!)..

Sometimes Co-owners forget to tell you BIG information on dogs...
I just discovered my sweet Flyer (co-owned and loved by Carmen Helgesen and bred by myself and Alleyne Dickens) CH BlackFyre Fly First Class Snowflower RN earned the prestigious P-BAR in 2017 .. a Performance Bar is earned by siring or grandsiring enough offspring to earn titles in Non Obedience Performance events.
I also found out his Mother , Arlequin Bonheur Coeur en Feu co-owned by myself and Alleyne Dickens and Bred by Betsy Keating is a P-BAR as well as of 2017.
His Paternal Grandsire Wyld is a C-BAR dog. His Paternal Grandmother Moxie is a C-BAR too.
I am Very proud of the dogs I've bred and/or owned and their owners, co-owners and offspring and grand offspring for these accomplishments .
Earning Breeder Achievement of Record awards over multiple generations shows quality begets more quality.

Team BlackFyre is taking a VACATION break .. A REAL Vacation that does not include dog shows (but does include the dogs of course LOLOL)... Headed to a Lake with zero cell signal from Today until August 10th...

IF you have NOT entered Enumclaw yet , do NOT forget it closes on Wednesday at NOON Pacific time and the super is Baray ...

If you are already a client and your dog is staying with me, it's going to enjoy playing in the lake and fun hikes.

If you're a client and I don't have your dog and you're trying to reach me don't expect a response back until sometime the evening of the 10th.

If you're not a client but want to become one? I will respond back on the 11th :)

To say I am proud of this boy is an understatement. We do not show every single weekend but he has been consistent in catching the judges eye and always ALWAYS gives me 100% in the ring.
The best is yet to come for this lad. I am SO very honored to be his Breeder/Owner/Handler ❤

We are SO Proud of Coaster #10 Tervuren (breed) as of March 2021

As his owner/handler I am so proud of this young dog's start, already a TOP TEN Tervuren (breed level) with just two weekends of showing in the highly competitive West Coast!

As his breeder I am THRILLED that my vision is coming to fruition.

A place to set up and have all the grooming tools you need plus expert oversight and assistance all the way from preparing your dog , to when to go up to the ring, to where to get your arm band, to going INTO The ring and coaching on how to best show your dog :)

This will be a very limited slot opportunity at each show.

Now you can choose to have Team BlackFyre show your dog OR give you all that professional polish edge but getting into that ring yourself !
