The time has come. This decision causes a lot of pain and mixed feelings, but I know this is for the best. If I don’t do it now, I probably talk myself out of it again.

As many of my closest friend and family know, raising Mini Lops has been such a testing,but rewarding hobby. I experienced some amazing people and places during my time in rabbits. I’ve achieved some great things since starting back in 2011, but all great things must come to a end- or perhaps a hiatus?

I love my hobby, but it’s time to focus so one day I might be able to revisit and build the farm of my dreams. Dreams can’t come into fruition without action. Getting into a place of my own is the first step!

I will be keeping a few of my retirees as personal pets, but everything will officially be for sale. Many of these are complete herd animals ready to be bred or shown. I’m down to my best of best. I do not make this decision lightly, and I am not in a hurry to sell them. I prefer selling them in pairs or trios. These are ideal if your looking to work with an established herd. My foundation stock was primarily Harmon, Scotts, Milkhouse and DeSurra. Prices will be FIRM. Transport is responsibility of the buyer. Please PM if interested.

Pictures/posting will be coming soon. Waiting for the weather to improve. I will be parting with some of my equipment, but not until the rabbits are situated.

On that note, thank you to everyone that supported my rabbit habit. I’ve gone though old photos of everyone who came to help dream be realized and admired how many people it took. I couldn’t of done it alone. Thank you for everyone who supported Georgia Peach Rabbitry!!💛🍑

✨Updates✨

I’ve been working more than I ever have (woohoo!), but things have been relatively calm with the rabbits. I spent my off day yesterday dedicating 9 hours to deep cleaning the main Rabbitry.

I do have a few prospects available for local pick up at this time. The next show I plan to attend will be November.

I don’t have anything in the box at this time because it’s hot, but I plan to start trying for a few in September. So please be patient! The well being of my does will always come first.

Otherwise, I’ll be trying to get some updated photos soon. Hopefully today after work. I’ve be so impressed with my 2018 babies, this will be the best group to date!💛

Produced from a bit of outcrossing to one of my best does. Introduced more Scott/Griffin lines. She doesn’t have incredible depth of her siblings but her flesh,fur, shoulders and overall fullness are worth noting. I think she would make nice asset to another show herd!

I’m in the process of posting updates. It’s been a very big month and a half! My amazing family kept the Rabbitry going. I’ll be posting upcoming junior and seniors. I’m working on photos and will be following up with emails soon! Convention is also around the corner. I do have a transporter and all sales animals MUST be entered. Prices will include transport +entry fees. I also plan to have some available at a few local Georgia shows this season.

✨Updates✨
I noticed it’s been a lot longer than I originally planned to get caught up with rabbit affairs. I’m making arrangements to head to Savannah in July for work, so there’s been a lot going on personally. It’s been pouring when I’m not working, so I’m hoping for some sunny days soon for picture taking!!

I’m actually at work putting this together during my lunch break but I plan to sit down and work on emails these next couple of days.

Thank you all for your patience. This is a big move for myself and our family, but I think it will really pay off on the end!

Yes, we have plenty of stock available. Show,brood, and pet. I will be posting and following up with request ASAP. Pick ups will be cut off June 27th!!!! I will be leaving my herd with my mother, so I must cut down to minimum numbers.

I do have some rabbits looking for re-homing. They are coming from loving homes but they either have allergies or moving. I want to work on finding these guys home before they have to come back to me. If you have interest, please pm me. I’ll be gather more information and posting pictures that they are providing! These rabbits are 2-3 years old.

⚠️2 Rabbitry cases have been confirmed. I’m so sad to hear of these losses. 😞 Years go into building a Rabbitry. I hope this doesn’t spread further. Please report to your vet if your rabbit is symptomatic!

Non-breeding Contract

This is a Sable Chinchilla. She is a doe, so she will include a non-breeding contract.I’ve been growing her out and noticed she prefers to pop up rather than pose correctly. I’ve come to the conclusion her length of limb isn’t correct. However, she’s very sweet and has an easy going attitude. I’d like to find her a home that will spoil her rotten!

Our Story

Small 30-hole Rabbitry Marietta,Ga. Specializing in Mini Lops since 2011.

My unlikely rabbit ownership story began when I noticed an undernourished broken tort lop cross at a pet store. Needless to say, he came home with me and inspired my program of Mini Lops. I had often heard rabbits were flighty and scared, but he was intelligent, easy going and playful. Wanting to raise rabbits with temperament and standard in mind, I found myself researching the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) and made arrangements to observe my first show.

I still remember my Dad pointing out the gorgeous BOB Mini Lop that day. I was hooked!

As my horse riding career took a hiatus to attend college, the transition into rabbits came fairly easy. I admit, there was a rather large learning curve and occasional costly lessons. Overtime, herdsmen skills became more fine tuned and capabilities grew. I found myself introduced and guided by mentors, breeders and judges from around the country. They have all offered indispensable amount of knowledge.
