We wanted to create this community for blind parent(s), blind grandparent(s), and siblings navigating through kids, pets, home, work, and just life! We were attending a breakfast hosted by a group called ACB Families, an
organ
ization affiliated with the American Council of the Blind. While Ron
and I were trying to keep the kids quiet and the IPhones separated from the
scrambled eggs, several of the meeting's attendees were discussing an idea
that sounded great to me: a web-based radio show dealing with the issues and special needs of blind families. That sounds
like a real fun project". Then, life happened, and I didn't do anything for
another month-other than raising kids, cleaning the house, doing the
laundry, and stuff like that.
