While there are not any active fires in Colorado Springs or El Paso County, you NEED to be prepared before a fire happens. The fires burning in our state right now are a good reminder that evacuations could happen quickly and at any moment.

Thousands of people are currently being evacuated in Colorado due to significant wildfires to our north. If evacuations were to take place in our part of the state you would be notified by Peak Alerts, but in order to be notified you must sign up.
