UPDATE: Duke has been found but unfortunately he was killed by another dog in that area - please continue to pray for Summer and her family as it is never, ever easy when we lose one of our pets - thank you to everyone who shared the post and said a pray for his return

Missing dog alert - If you see or have seen this dog in the vicinity of Will Inman Rd in Tabor City please contact Summer at 910-234-5945 - his name is Duke and he is a dachshund/pit mix - brindle color - stands about a foot and a half tall and weighs about 40 lbs - he is approximately 9 to 10 years old and she has had him since he was a puppy - he got out of the house and ran off around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday February 29th and she has been searching for him all evening - he has an orange collar on with her name and phone number on it, a rabies tag and also a personal tag - he is super friendly but he may bark at you - he is not aggressive at all - he loves treats and belly rubs and car rides - he has not been neutered - If you live in this area or the surrounding area, please try to help Summer find her dog - she is very upset and worried about him because he has already been missing about 8-9 hours - also please pray that Duke will be back home with her soon - We all love our animals and we would be upset and worried about one of ours if it happened to us - thank you in advance for any help you can give to assist her in finding her furbaby

♥️♥️♥️Adopted♥️♥️♥️Meet Poppy. This handsome chocolate Chantilly mix is front declawed and looking for his forever home. He is extremely long haired and will require daily brushing, and possibly occasional grooming. He loves to be pet and will rub up against you for attention, but isn’t a big fan on being picked up. He would do best in a home with older children and another cat is fine, as long as they had the same laid back temperament as him.
