Abby putting the first ride on 3 yr old Peppy. The next horse trainer in the making, she's been doing almost all the work on him by herself. He can be a handful at times just because he gets distracted and can get a little " peppy". She's making great progress.
Sale Video Blooper
Disclaimer: Jazz shook it off and was perfectly fine!
Here's another neat clip that didn't make the cut for the sale promo video, just because of length. This is guiding Farley through a cloverleaf pattern using only cues from my legs and seat ( absolutely no headgear). It is an absolute awesome feeling to have this kind of connection with your horse, to feel like you can place his feet where you want just by thinking about it. What is unseen but makes this video even more impressive is that just behind the camera woman are a couple of his buddies feasting on oats. This is a special horse, for sure.
Getting Farley all shined up for the big weekend! Baths don’t happen too often around here, but as you can see he doesn’t mind!

I was looking through some old videos today and found this video from this spring. Here I am practicing a one man doctoring trap on a client horse. The arena is a great place to work on these skills and build a nice horse! -Peyton

There is not much that is better for a horse, especially a performance horse, to get out and do a job. That’s the exact reason 4 year old Bills came to me, she’s getting real life experiences before doing something great in the arena.
