I'm often asked, "What do you do with a cat for a 30-minute visit?" After the feeding and cleaning of litterbox and necessary tasks to keep them healthy and safe (sometimes medication is administered depending on needs). We: Play, snuggle, give snacks, brush, provide scritches…. whatever they want! We Love 'Em Like You Do! Some of our clients schedule 45 minutes or even sometimes an Almost Overnights for their fur babies!

7/9/24: Attention, a harmful blue-green algae bloom has been confirmed at Rice Lake within the Danada Forest Preserve. This can make pets, children and people with weak immune systems sick if they ingest or inhale water that has algae present.

• Don’t touch the algae.
• Keep your pets away from the water.
• If contact is made, thoroughly wash your skin (or your pet’s fur) as soon as possible.

Staff will continue to monitor water conditions. Harmful algae blooms can look like spilled blue, green, or brown paint on the surface of the water. Should you observe a potential algae bloom in a DuPage forest preserve, please report the specific location and provide a photo to [email protected].
