Made with love, made to give back 💛 Tooth and Honey started in 2015 with the objective of making functional, comfortable sweaters( now pajamas, T-shirts and accessories!) for hard-to-fit, bully breed dogs, and using it as a way to support the animal rescue community and animal awareness initiatives.
“Too
th and Honey,” changed its name from “I’m a Dog, Keep Me Warm,” to better reflect what inspires the company, beyond making cozy dog sweaters. We started making sweaters after we realized that there were zero products on the market fitted for uniquely-sized (and uniquely-shaped) pitbulls.
“Tooth” alludes to the loyally protective nature of these hard-to-fit canines, like a fiercely supportive friend with a hard-candy shell. This rough exterior is balanced with “honey,” which refers to the calm, therapeutic, and sweet presence of bully breeds—and any dog—who have become true members of the family. Anyone with a pitbull or bully breed in their family knows that damaged stereotypes and violent perceptions about them couldn’t be further from the truth! It is one of Tooth and Honey’s priorities to change that image, so that more bully breeds will be rescued and adopted. When you buy a product from us, you are not only buying a quality, hand-crafted item for your companion, but you are helping us further our goals of making the world a better place for animals: a portion of all proceeds is donated to various animal shelters as we strive to bring attention to important issues like spaying, neutering and animal abuse.
