When you come to us for training, daycare, or boarding, you can be assured that we will never use any harsh corrections nor any pain-inducing, fear-inducing or avoidance-based techniques. Our toolboxes do NOT contain choke chains, prong collars or shock collars. Training with your dog should be a fun experience for you AND your dog and based on mutual trust and respect rather than anxiety and fear

. We pledge to keep ourselves educated on the latest scientific developments and training methods and will not hesitate to speak out against abuse and neglect, thus giving a voice to the voiceless. We have three locations:

With renovations it always gets worse before it gets better! We are putting in a new floor in the puppy/small dog area, to make it easier to clean and more comfortable for the pups to walk and sleep on!

🦮👩🏼‍🎓🧑🏼‍🎓HAPPY GRADUATION 👩🏼‍🎓🧑🏼‍🎓🦮

On Saturday Sylvie, Appa, and Ziva all graduated from Jordan and Tanya’s special “Walk It Like It’s Hot!” class! Newton also graduated, but unfortunately mom was out of town so he was at graduation day “in spirit”. The next step for these 4 is Level 2, and taking these skills outside, which we’ll be doing come spring/summer!
In the meantime, to keep their skills refined around all sorts of other dogs, they’re even going to continue taking Level 1 through fall/winter. 😍 we love the commitment!

If you’re ready to level up your dogs skills on leash, and general public manners, the ladies are now enrolling for their next Level 1 class, which starts Saturday November 9th @ 10:15am! 😁 There’s only a few spots left!!

Today was our version of the pups trunk ‘r treat! The 2nd annual “Peek A Boo” Halloween nose work event. 🐶😍
Lola, Maximus & Toby, Zoey & Daisy, Cosmo, Magic, Birdy & BB, Ziva and Toby, & Zia all had a fabulous time hunting for pumpkins!

We hope you all have a happy Halloween later this week! ❤️

🥳🥳🥳 HAPPY BARKDAY 🥳🥳🥳

This month we’ve had two very special birthdays to celebrate!! Both Roo, and Rudy turned the grand 2 YEARS OLD! 😍
Roo, also known as Roobert, Rooby, and many other cutesy names by our staff has been coming to school since she was a baby and she sure has blossomed 🌸 into a confident young lady! Roo often spends time with puppies because she is wonderful with the under confident little that need a little “boost”. We love her dearly and enjoy every day we get to spend with her. ❤️
Rudy, also known as “Rudy with the booty” because this boy has the wiggliest of butts, started with HOD in puppy class, then transitioned over to boarding, and daytime social. He is a HOOT and a HOLLER! Rudy keeps the kennel techs entertained during playgroups, and our trainers looks forward to taking him for walkies because the zoomies this boy gets are incredible! 🦮

🐕 TRAINING TIP TUESDAY 🐕

Let's talk about leash position! We see this one A LOT. We need to be aware of where and how we are holding our leashes. We want a nice loose leash with a U between you and your dog with the leash at your belly button or down to your side. We don't hang our dog from the sky, we don't reach 4 feet in front of us to our dog who is on a tight leash, and we don't raise the leash to the sky when we are trying to reward or cue our little dogs.

A tight leash to "control" a dog's movement often backfires because of opposition reflex, the dog will naturally pull against the force of the tight leash.
