House of Dog Training We believe in using science-based dog training to help dog owners build strong bonds with their compa

When you come to us for training, daycare, or boarding, you can be assured that we will never use any harsh corrections nor any pain-inducing, fear-inducing or avoidance-based techniques. Our toolboxes do NOT contain choke chains, prong collars or shock collars. Training with your dog should be a fun experience for you AND your dog and based on mutual trust and respect rather than anxiety and fear

. We pledge to keep ourselves educated on the latest scientific developments and training methods and will not hesitate to speak out against abuse and neglect, thus giving a voice to the voiceless. We have three locations:

Most of our classes will be cancelled today, Saturday! Please check your email, texts or give us a call if you are not sure! As of right now (8am), the 9am PuppyK, the Walk It, the 2.30 2K and 3.45 Good Dog are cancelled. The 11 PuppyK, Yappy Hour and 1.30 k2 are being re-evaluated in a couple of hours! Stay safe and warm out there!

Today we remember Karen Pryor. I think it is safe to say that EVERY SINGLE positive reinforcement trainer was influenced in some way by her. What a legacy she leaves behind! Thank you Karen for all the good you did - not just for dogs but other animals as well. Rest In Power! (This book is highly commended if you are interested in dog training!)

If you’re looking for an outlet for their energy today and you don’t mind driving in the snow, come and join us for Yappy Hour today from 12:45-1:15pm! Yappy Hour is our ✨ better than a dog park ✨ alternative because your dogs are accompanied by you, a trainer (or trainers), you know the dogs are friendly, and vaccinated, and we split the play area into multiple sections when needed! 📸: Takoda & Cheyenne a few weeks ago!
