PAYMENT
Unless other arrangements have been made, payment for service is due upfront. If your booking is for more than 7 days, 50% of payment is due upfront, and the remainder is due within 48 hours upon your return. Payments accepted: Cash, Check, PayPal, and Venmo. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are okay, as I don't feel it's fair to penalize my clients for staying home with their pets. I'm always
flexible; however, when I'm counting on that money to pay bills and that money is gone at the last minute, I'm left to scramble and try to rebook another client. To keep it fair for all involved, my cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start time will be charged half price for the entire booking. Cancellations prior to 24 hours of the booking start time will not have a fee. For my regular clients, you may cancel up to 5 times without a fee, on the 6th cancelation, you will be charged for one full visit. (Regular clients: bookings of 4 or more drop-in visits per month.) INCLEMENT WEATHER
No service will be provided when inclement weather makes for unsafe travel. This includes rain, hail, and excessive heat. Weather conditions can be unpredictable and for the safety of all involved, scheduled service will be determined by the weather conditions on those particular days. I will monitor weather conditions closely and advise you of any changes to the schedule if necessary. You will be credited for any service that did not take place during unforeseen circumstances. HOLIDAYS
I book up fast and have very limited availability on holidays, so please make your reservations early. I will accept bookings up to 1 year in advance for holidays. Holidays include:
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend, Halloween. The following holidays will have an additional fee of $5:
Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Memorial Day Weekend (Friday-Monday), Independence Day (including July 3rd and 5th), Labor Day Weekend (Friday-Monday), Halloween.
*Christmas Eve: I will only work until 2 pm.
**Christmas Day: I'm closed. This is the one day of the year I won't work so I can be with my loved ones. If you are in an absolute bind, I will consider helping for an additional fee, but this is not guaranteed. BUSY SEASON
Busy season: Major Holiday weekends, Spring break, Summer break, the two weeks around 4th of July, and Thanksgiving week. My schedule fills up extremely fast during these times. Please book as early as possible so I can accommodate you. *Spring break and 4th of July week are the busiest times and usually book up at least 30-60 days in advance. EARLY RETURN
If you return earlier than expected, a partial credit will be applied to your next booking. REFUNDS
No refunds are issued, only credits to your account. SCHEDULED TIME OFF
I will be taking one week off work so I can enjoy a vacation and travel time with my husband. The exact dates will be determined at a later time. It will most likely be in October. During this time, I will be unavailable for services, so I please request you to find a backup or hold off until I return. I will try my best to find a replacement for my services, but there are no guarantees. As always, I provide custom services and options specific to your needs.
