🆘Urgent help! We’ve been asked to help a cruelty case in TN. This boy whose about 2 was abandoned along with other dogs on the property. Because of where they are there is no humane or animal shelter close so he is living outside. We need a foster or adopter urgently. 🚨URGENT🚨
Roxie is our sweet cuddly girl who came to us pregnant. She unfortunately lost all her babies & is now in a terrible stressful situation where she is forced to her puppies that aren’t hers at her foster. We desperately need a new foster!

♥️ May we introduce you to Arnold! Arnold is a charming Rottweiler needing an experienced owner. Roughly two years ago, he was surrendered to the shelter after his family had a baby. Arnold showed no bad behavior towards the baby, however, they were worried that he would become protective over it, and therefore surrendered him. He was then adopted by someone else, but surrendered again for food aggression. Now, in the shelter, Arnold does show possession with his food, and it’s not something to take lightly. He is fine with taking treats, although once the food becomes his in the bowl, he will guard it. That being said, he will need an experienced owner who is willing to work with him, perhaps with the much-recommended help of a trainer. We cannot emphasize enough, you must know what you’re doing. Rottweilers are amazing dogs. Just as any dog with food possessive behaviors, though you must have the time and skill to work with them. 
Aside from this, Arnold is a wonderful dog. He is full of love and thoroughly enjoys his time with people. He does bond to people, and will guard them from unfamiliar people, but once his trust is gained, it’s so worth it. This Rotti-typical behavior is another reason an experienced owner is a must.
Arnold walks great on a leash and is completely housebroken. He’s quiet in his kennel but gets excited when it’s time to go out. He loves his walks, as well as getting time to explore and lounge in the play yard. Arnold has not been fully tested with dogs, although he is okay walking outside when other dogs are also walking. He has also shown to be non-reactive when dogs come up to him on the fence line. He does not like anyone sneaking up on him and may growl if he’s caught off guard.
Arnold is about 3 years old and is so willing to please. He adores his people and truly loves life. If you are committed to putting in the work, you are promised a great dog. Arnold is an absolute joy, he just needs the right home. If interested please PM us or apply! Located Spotslyvania, VA📍

Makoto 😭💔 this sweet girl hasn’t had an update so here is one. While we thought she turned a corner & was settling in with her new medical foster she took a turn yesterday. Back at the ER vet she was diagnosed with not only a vestibular disease but is SEVERLY heartworm positive something that despite being on prevention we weren’t aware at intake with her.

Our funds are LOW due to not only ER visits but all the dogs we have in our rescue. We try so hard to save so many but we are struggling. If you can find a few extra dollars at the beginning of this holiday season to help Makoto on a long road to recovery & hopefully finding her furever home we would appreciate it! ❤️🎄fingers crossed for our girl 🤞🏼

Meet sweet baby girl Mattie 😍👑🩷💜

Sweet Mattie was recently pulled from a shelter in Maryland and has been recovering in her wonderful foster home from an icky case of kennel cough. Now that she is doing much better, she is ready to find her forever home! 🥰

Mattie is around 5/6 months old and has a natural tail! She is great with other dogs and is currently in a foster home with kids of varying ages. Roxie came to us from a rural shelter partner in West Virginia. She was dumped by her owner and was very pregnant. Unfortunately, none of her 4 pups survived. Despite this, she is now doing well and is looking for a family of her own. Roxie is wonderful with children! She is also dog and cat selective. She is friendly with some of the dogs and cats in her foster home and not fond of others. She will be spayed and micro-chipped shortly. She is HW negative. Our very sweet pregnant rottie girl has left the shelter in Arkansas and will be arriving to her foster in the Cleveland area in the wee hours of the morning! Clifford is at the SPCA in West Seneca, NY.  Clifford is a 5 year old Rottie/Mastiff Mix. He was found as a stray and brought to the shelter.  The shelter is concerned due to the amount of time he has been there.
He is a good dog, however a bit shy. The staff is working on touch desensitization so he will allow his head to be touched.  He gets very excited and sometimes overstimulates when he is playing with other dogs and due to his size, it can be a bit scary for smaller dogs. Clifford has a lot of energy, so will need an experienced foster or adopter. He has a lot of potential.
