As New Year's Eve approaches, it's important to keep your furry friends safe from the loud noises and bright lights of fireworks. Here are some tips to help your pet feel secure:

- Create a safe space: Designate a quiet, comfortable room in your home where your pet can retreat. This could be a crate, a dog bed, or a cat tree. Make sure the space is well-lit and has everything your pet needs, such as food, water, and a favorite toy.

- Desensitize them: Start getting your pet used to the sounds of fireworks gradually. You can do this by playing recordings of fireworks at low volumes and gradually increasing the volume over time. Reward your pet with treats and praise when they remain calm.

- Keep them indoors: On New Year's Eve, keep your pet indoors and away from windows and doors. You can also close the curtains or blinds to minimize the amount of light coming in.

- Distract them: During fireworks displays, distract your pet with their favorite toys, games, or treats. You can also try playing calming music or using a white noise machine to mask the sound of fireworks.

- Consider calming aids: Talk to your veterinarian about calming aids, such as pheromone diffusers, calming chews, or prescription medications. These can help reduce anxiety and stress in pets.

- Be patient: Remember that every pet is different and some may be more sensitive to fireworks than others. Be patient and understanding with your pet, and provide them with the support they need to feel safe and secure.

Remember: If your pet shows signs of extreme anxiety, such as panting, trembling, hiding, or pacing, contact your veterinarian immediately. They can provide guidance and support to help you manage your pet's anxiety during New Year's Eve and beyond.

Our Passion

Happy Paws Pet Grooming Home Service started very small, with minimal clients and few of them are our close friends and now we cover most part of Bataan, Pampanga and Tarlac areas. We love pampering our dogs and giving them the comfort that they deserve. With this said, we love to share our passion to each and every fur parent that would be availing our services. We our dedicated to being good animal stewards and in service to our client’s pets.

Pet grooming is a hands on profession, we work closely with our client’s pets. Hence, we provide a grooming policy for our clients that will be mutually beneficial to all. We groom by appointment only and each pet is given a specific time based on breed and weight. Should your pet display aggressive behavior towards our groomers, we will make all attempts to finish grooming your pet with a muzzle. If in any case that your pet will not be cooperative with the grooming procedure and will instill stress on their part, we will reserve the right to refuse and discontinue grooming for the sake of the pet’s mental wellness.

We would love to groom all types of dog breeds, but if in some reason that we know that we won’t be able to perform our duty, we will inform the pet owner, and we hope that this can be understood and not part of any discrimination. Our groomers have their own limitations and skills set as well.
