FOSTER HOME FOUND IN KENORA THANK YOU Tracey Lajeunesse

This pup was found outside and alone. I have nowhere for her to go and will not bring her into care unless we have a committed place for her. She appears.to be 6-7 weeks old.

IT'S A DOG'S LIFE IS GRATEFULLY ACCEPTING BAKING FOR OUR BAKE SALE SATURDAY DECEMBER 14TH AT THE NORMAN COMMUNITY HALL.

Baking.can be dropped off Friday December 13th at the Norman community hall between 4-7 pm or Saturday D3cember 14th between 8:00 am-8:30 am at the Norman community Hall. OR CALL CHRIS FOR PICK UP AT 4671007.

Great way to help the hounds without fostering.

JUST A REMINDER:

IT'S.A DOG'S LIFE IS FULL!!
30 pups in care and 20 needing to come in.

If you find a puppy that is in distress and pick it up please keep the pup until we have room. This could be months away. We will help with feeding the pup etc.

Preparing proper outdoor shelter for your dog is important to do now, BEFORE the cold weather hits!

Getting your doghouse ready:
❄️ The house should allow space for your dog to stand up and turn around inside. Too big - the house will stay cold. Too small - your dog won't use it.
❄️ Place the doghouse against the side of your house to share extra warmth.
❄️ Position the doghouse so the entrance is sheltered from direct wind.
❄️ Doghouses can be built out of any material that prevents moisture and wind!

Consider using straw and NOT blankets for your doghouse bedding.
Dogs carry moisture into the doghouse on their paws and fur - this moisture causes blankets and other materials to quickly and easily freeze into cold, hard ice blocks. This makes a doghouse useless in keeping dogs warm, and their body has to fight for heat against the frozen blankets.

Hershey and Winter love each other. Winter is very good in her crate now. Didn't take her long. PLEASE CONSIDER FOSTERING HER. WE NEED A PLACE FOR HER ASAP. GOOD WITH CHILDREN She will be spayed next Thursday . Fill out an application at https://adogslife.cc/foster-a-dog/

Luna loves playing with her little sister (her foster parents own puppy). To adopt Luna fill out an application at https://adogslife.cc/adoption-process/online-adoption-application/ Luna is currently being fostered in Dryden but can come to Kenora for a private meet and greet with you.

Update on the boys City Of Kenora. Weather conditions meant an unscheduled stop for the the night in Sault St Marie. What to do with 2 large dogs. Well they spent the night at the airport at the operations building being treated like the Kings of Rescue! Today they are heading out on the last leg of their journey!! The crew at the operations building LOVED the boys.

TWO DAYS TO FIND JENNI A FOSTER HOME Jenni's pups have all found foster homes in pairs until Dec 30th. We now need a long term foster home for Jenni. We have to wait 4-6 weeks for her milk to dry up before we can have her spayed. But will need a place for her by next Wednesday December 13th. If you can help PLEASE MESSAGE US. We provide everything needed to care for her. She has been good with the dogs in her current foster home. No idea about cats. Very sweet so we feel she would be good with children. Walks well on leash please fill out an application to foster at adogslife.cc
