Mom just got spayed today and will go back to her owners so no more puppies for her! She went to Humane society of Huron valley and because she had a hernia it was almost $500. Any and all donations would be appreciated. 🙏🙏💕

Thank you to the transporter who stepped up to do this out of the goodness of her heart.

She had 5 puppies that will go to a low cost spay and neuter clinic in 2 weeks. We aren't asking for donations for those as with the $200 adoption fee we should break close to even.

We’re searching for a loving foster-to-adopt home for a 4-6-month-old German Shepherd located in Macomb County. This sweet girl has had a rough start and needs someone with ❤️ breed experience and plenty of love to help her heal and thrive.

About Her:

🐕 Age: 4-6 months old

📍 Location: Currently in Macomb County

🩺 Health: She is being treated for mange and has scabs from her condition. She needs a foster who can commit to attending regular vet appointments to support her recovery.

💛 Temperament: Sweet and resilient, but she has not had a chance to fully decompress, so her true personality and behaviors are still emerging.

⚡ Activity Level: As a young shepherd, she will likely be high-energy and playful once her health improves.

🐾 Compatibility: While her interactions with other animals haven’t been fully evaluated, all pets in the household must be up to date on vaccinations for everyone’s safety.

Special Requirements:

🚫 No Small Children: Due to her age, medical needs, and current condition, she requires a calm, stress-free environment without small children.

🐕‍🦺 Breed Experience: We are looking for someone familiar with the needs and traits of German Shepherds to help her grow into her best self.

For thanksgiving this year we saved three medical babies from a high kill shelter. Their medical is already at over 500. Their names are Worm, Annie and Sarah. Once they are medically well they will be looking for home. They are coming from the high kill shelters in Texas to the beautiful land of Michigan. Who wants a kitty with a story to tell? These pretty kitties were saved with mere minutes to spare. Can you spare a little extra this thanksgiving to help with their vetting?

🩷 Princess Fluffy 🩷 is now ready for her furever home. She is a 4 month old Himalayan persian x ragdoll mix. She IS special needs. Fluffy has CH meaning that at times she is wobbly and can find it hard to get around. She needs an indoor only home where she can freely roam without a ton of chaos. She is still very kitten, clawing, pawing and playing. She loves running and pouncing but it is still evident that she has light CH. 🐾 Her ideal home would be someone with possibly another cat or no other pets and someone who can accommodate a special needs kitty. You must be more of a homebody than an adventurer as she needs a human to give her their undivided attention. 💅 She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her foster family is in Oakland county.

WINTSON UPDATE:

Winston just got out of surgery and he is waking up. He had a leg and tail amputation. Thank you for all of the shares, prayers and donations. Donations are still desperately needed! 🙏🙏 It is unclear whether or not he is coming home and we should know by 5 pm after a blood draw if he needs to stay the night. We are at 425 out of the 2280 estimate.

If Winston makes it and a family doesn't come forward he will be looking for a family as well! 💕😺

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

Late one night we went and rescued a puppy, but the true hero was the one that gave him up. He came from a severe domestic violence situation and even though he was loved, she chose to give him up. She gave him up because she knew that he was being used as a tool against her and she could see the dangers he was enduring. Yes, the dog has been abused and after QT is up he will be posted.

Statistically speaking, it takes victims of domestic violence 7 different times of leaving to actually leave their abuser. They have been manipulated, neglected, abused and often experience what is known at trauma bonding.

What I want to say is that there IS help. There are places for you to go. There are people that love you, regardless of what the abuser has told you. Your life is worth living and you have a place in this world.

Mental health problems come out in the form of self harm, substance abuse, self loathing, narcissism, etc, but there is help and your life is worth living regardless of your struggle.

I quote this, “Regardless of who you are or what you’ve done, just know that someone out there loves you more than you love yourself. I love you.”

Meet Bear! 🐻

Bear is a 5 month old poodle mix (unknown exact breed mix) who is estimated to get 18-25 lbs. He is looking for either an adopter or foster to adopt home. He is currently 8 lbs. He has tons of energy and needs a person or a family who can give him all of the stimulation that he needs! Once he is done playing he is all about cuddles. Bear will need some help potty training but is doing well with it when crated and then taken outside. He will come with his first shots, deworming, microchip, and neuter. His neuter and rabies are scheduled the 23rd but he can go into a foster to adopt home prior to and we would pick him up for and drop him off from his appointment. He has had his microchip, distemper and been given monthly dewormer. His adoption fee is 3️⃣5️⃣0️⃣. Bear needs a family to call his own! Could that be you or yours?

UPDATE 1/15/24. ESTELLE is still looking for her perfect home around Metro Detroit, MI

Estelle is still looking for her furever home. Estelle is 3 months old and has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated. She is a purebred, special needs (blind) miniature poodle. Her adoption fee is 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ and all vet paperwork will come home with her. She traveled 10 hours in a car to get here. She can travel a little more to find her family! We do applications on each individual dog adopted from us so if you have already adopted one we do require another for the animal at hand. If the application looks good we can move forward with a meet and greet. If the meet and greet goes well you would be able to bring her home the same day. She eats watered down wet food as she does not want water. She will have to go to a home with other small animals or no other animals. She cannot see so she knocks into things and could easily be stepped on by a bigger animal. If you're looking for a snuggle bug then Estelle might be the right fit for you! Her foster is located in Oakland county.

Meet Estelle! Estelle is a purebred AKC miniature poodle but she will not come with papers. She is 12 weeks old and weighs just over 3 lbs. She is blind and has become a shadow, following around her person and snuggling. She was a champ who came all of the way from Kentucky. She has had all her vaccines, microchip, had been dewormed, and was spayed with the lab puppies. She is good with cats, dogs, and kids. She is not first come first serve. Her adoption fee will be 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣. We will start taking applications on her tonight.
