Honoring Potrero Hill Icon Maria Duran...

I had the pleasure of recognizing one of Potrero Hill's staunchest advocates and founder of the Potrero Hill Community Garden at San Bruno and 20th street, Maria Duran. Maria has always seen gardening as therapy for the mind and soul and has passed her passion for gardening on to many generations to come. Community advocates and leaders like Maria help make our neighborhoods the most diverse and unique in the City.
