✨Introducing Tahoe and Costa’s 2024 litter✨
Tahoe welcomed 4 sweet pups on Halloween! 3 boys and 1 girl!
Birth Story: Miss Tahoe was due on 10/29, we kept close eyes on her at all times starting a few days before she was due. But, when her due date came and went, we were starting to get a little worried as to why she hadn’t gone into labor. We gave her until early morning 10/31 to start progressing and decided to call our reproduction vet to get her checked out to make sure all was well with her and her babies. Sure enough on the way she started to have very small contractions, we got to the vet and they checked on mama and pups and all was good. The vet said either way the babies need to come out today as it starts to get unsafe for puppies and mama when they go too far over their due date. While we were in the vet her contractions starting getting strong, so we and the vet decided we would give her an hour to see if she progressed and if not we would unfortunately need to do a C-section. Once Mama Tahoe heard that she went into full blown labor. We loaded her up and drove her home to have her babies naturally, within a hour of us arriving back home Tahoe delivered a big male pup and within the next hour and a half all 4 babies were out and thriving! To say it was a long few days waiting on puppies is an understatement but we are so blessed that Mama Tahoe and her little Halloween babies are happy and healthy🤍
