Our February Adoptable Pets of the Month are Violet and Caesar!

Violet is a 1.5 year old Brown Tabby and White DSH from the streets of Paterson. She gave birth to five kittens on October 23rd, 2024, who all went to their new homes just after New Year's. She is currently at the Pet Supplies Plus in Florham Park. She is vocal, confident, and loves a tall scratching post. She loves to be pet and is a little too fearless for her own good.

Caesar is an 11-12 year old Chihuahua mix. If you want a low-maintenance pet, he's the guy for you. He loves naps in front of a fan and short excursions outside. He needs help jumping up on the bed, yet can scale a baby gate no problem and his long-distance jump is insane. He does not bark much but instead has an unholy yowl that he lets out when a) you're FINALLY coming home, b) he jumped over said baby gate into a room he wasn't supposed to be in and now magically needs help getting back out, and c) the other dogs are trying to hump him. He lives with many other cats and dogs of all sizes, and while he has no teeth at all, he can eat both wet and dry food no problem. If you know of a senior who would like a companion or you just want an easy dog, send in an application for Caesar.

This morning, a family called animal control about two foxes stuck together. When you see this, shield your children's eyes, give the foxes a thumbs up, and be on your merry way.

Please note: they can be in this position for up to an hour and make terrible noises, but this is normal. For foxes. Well, maybe for you too, hell, I don't know you.

Did you know that right now is the best time to TNR feral cats? They aren't pregnant, and shelters/surgery centers are slow(er). Just $55 can get a feral cat spayed/neutered, a rabies vaccine, and a distemper vaccine! There are also low-cost microchips and SNAP tests upon request. If you need help getting your outside cats fixed before kitten season, PM us!

**Tulip has been adopted**

Our January Adoptable Pets of the Month are Tulip and Steve! Steve is a 9 month old puppy who was found in Piscataway and was never claimed. He is a LARGE Golden/Lab mix who is good with dogs and cats(though he can be annoying to cats who don't like dogs). Tulip was born on October 23rd to a pregnant street cat from Paterson(Violet, still available) and will be spayed next week.

Another Christmas season, another cat testing positive for rabies(two years in a row!). This year's unfortunate soul came from Rhoads Drive in Montgomery Township. There are reportedly other cats in the area: PLEASE be aware and call animal control if you observe any sick/injured animals in the area, wild or domestic.

STEVE is a 9 month old lab/golden mix who was found in a Lowe's parking lot in Piscataway (with a collar!) and was never claimed! He is now neutered, vaccinated, and has a negative 4DX. He is a LARGE boy with some growing to do. He is very tall at a lean 48lbs right now but he towers over my 50lb dobie mix. He has gotten along with all the dogs in the house, including a female Chihuahua, and is doing very well with the cats as well. He is very responsive to training and has a great temperament. If you would like to give Steve a home for the holidays, please PM us for an application!
