Friday, September 2nd: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday, September 3rd: 9:00am-5:00 pm
Sunday, September 4th: CLOSED
Monday, September 5th: CLOSED

Please make sure you have enough of your pets food/medications before then, and be patient with us as there will likely be a line as other pet parents stock up for the long weekend! 💛

Today has been a very sad day for us all here at High Street. We had to say our final goodbyes to a very important team member, our beloved team motivator “Mocha”

Mocha has been a part of the team for the past 8 years or so. She played many important roles as the clinic mascot, blanket warmer, paper weight, computer unplugger …..just to name a few. She’d volunteer (for treats of course) to be our demo dog for many injection demonstrations and medication administration for our clients. Her love of people and animals was very inspiring.

Oh, Mocha moo you were one of a kind and will be missed by so many! You truly left your paw prints on our hearts ❤️

Update: We have power restored and will be open tomorrow from 8:30 am to 5 pm. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding during this time.

We will be closed Monday May 23rd, 2022 for Victoria day. We will re-open Tuesday May 24th, 2022 at 8:30 am. We wish all of clients and their pets a happy and safe Victoria Day Week-End.

Leptospirosis is a disease caused by bacteria carried mainly by rodents and wildlife. Pets can become infected through contact with the urine of infected animals such as raccoons, skunks and rats. Dogs can also contract the disease by swimming in stagnant water or drinking contaminated puddle water. If your outdoor activities could put your dog at risk, speak to your veterinarian to learn if the leptospirosis vaccine is suitable for your pet.

Heartworm disease is a serious illness that can affect dogs, cats and ferrets. Spread through a mosquito bite, heartworm disease can cause heart failure, severe organ damage and, in severe cases, can be fatal. To help prevent infection, pets should take preventive medicine. To learn more, speak to your veterinarian.
