LTV was founded by a team of committed animal lovers in 2019. Our mission at LTV is to love, educate and heal.
Once a group of 4, the team has now expanded to a network of passionate volunteers, feeders, rescuers and like-minded dog lovers.

When the shelters are asked to move to Animal Lodge in Tengah, they didn’t expect it to be such short lived. It’s already challenging to raise fund for their necessities/medical/rental for lodging and not to forget, rehabilitating & rehoming the animals.
Now, volunteers have another worries added into their list.
We’re already halfway towards end of 2024..
NParks on behalf of all volunteers and the animals, we sincerely hope that you will work on a concrete solution. A long term plan for the animals.

Hope this is a reminder to all, always put on a buckle collar with an airtag (Buckle collar; in case they get caught into something in the street or at home, it can be broken with struggle, otherwise, it will choke till death). We’ll never know!

The infrastructure in main shelter needs to be renovated. It’s been 15~16 years of usage, the facilities needs to be renovated for the safety of the abandoned homeless dogs in the shelter.

Your dog’s dental health is important!
Dental hygiene should be practiced at home and it starts with brushing your dog’s teeth, diet and lifestyle.
Teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your vet for early signs of problems and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.
Never neglect dental health because advanced periodontal disease can cause severe problems and pain for your furkid. Early detection and maintenance is important!
Mickey, who is a 13 years old poodle raised by an elderly family unfortunately diagnosed with periodontal disease. His elderly owner did not know the importance of dental care, which led to Mickey’s gum disease. Due to the severity, it has damaged his gum and some teeth were removed.
His silent agony is finally over and on the road to recovery! We’re seeking help to support the vet bills as the elderly couple is unable to afford; husband is out of job due to injury and wife is working as a cleaner.

We were informed that blood transfusions were not helping Molly and that we should prepare for the worst 😢
Yesterday, we seeked a 2nd opinion with Dr Ly at Animal Wellness Referral Centre as Molly was lethargic, pale, lacked appetite and was vomiting.
Molly is suspected to suffer from an autoimmune disease called Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) after her spleen removal surgery in May. Dr Ly recommended trying out immunoglobulin therapy to strengthen her body and help her bone marrow produce its own red blood cells.
Molly was sent home with both oral and injectable medications and supplements.
Molly's medical treatment thus far has been extremely pricey and we have racked up thousands of dollars in debt.

Just this month, The Dog Grocer generously donated their all-natural, delicious treats to help us raise funds for a good cause! 🐶 Jacquelyn went above and beyond by coordinating the effort, and the amount raised went towards covering Dillon's astronomical vet bills. Together with Forget Me Not (Luigi), we brought the boys out to Jurong Lake Garden for a fun time outside the shelter yesterday! They had a good time running around freely and decompress. So lucky to have an empty dog run and good weather (though it was blazing hot) 🌞 We hope to do this often as it’s very good for their mental health. Adoption Notice for Landy Landy is 1-2 years old and she is a proud mother of 2 litters. Her rescue went well, credits to Mark the trapper and Lolita the feeder. It was promising at the start – a classic rescue and rehome. No doubt, Murphy's law happened and shelter staff found her, early morning, in a bloodied kennel. She was rushed to the nearest emergency hospital for urgent treatment. We had a call for help to support her medical fees and overnight the outpour of love and compassion raised us more than enough funds and support; for her treatment and a second opinion with Dr Ly. Since July 2021, Landy is at her foster home and she is now healthy and ready for adoption! She is still rather skittish and shy with strangers, so be sure to give her lots of TLC and positive reinforcements! In a nutshell, Landy is/has/will: - No aggression thus far – she is very mellow even with medication, needles and nail clipping - Good with low energy dogs - Pee pad trained and grass trained - House trained – sleeps in her bed and respects personal space like sofa/beds - Understand basic command like sit and come - Thrive in a quiet environment - Perfect for working adults For Landy, we’re looking for someone whom is able to : - Provide a quiet and apartment living environment - Be mindful of her allergies and diet restrictions - Work on her leash training - Walks twice a day - Be willing to visit her foster a few times for Landy to build trust - Family with existing dogs would be ideal for her ( not puppies) To adopt Landy, please fill in the form in the bio. Muzzle training with Scooby Part 1
Scooby needs a home! We’re on a hunt for a suitable foster for Scooby as he would eventually require a home environment to recuperate and heal. Like us, hospital stays can be draining and exhaustive for dogs. If you have an available crib, and is willing to commit to Scooby’s rehab, please DM us or submit your interest to the link in our bio. LTV team of volunteers will be committed to helping you in the transition, rehabilitation and cover his medical costs. Spread the word! As he is expected to discharge end of this week for home care. Expense and Donation Summary For Scooby Thank you donors and business owners in contributing to Scooby’s medical bills. We’ve raised ample for his current stay and treatment. Jointly, we’ve received a total of $10,845.25 in donations, with total expenses till date being $9,227.45. With your help and encouragement, the team is motivated to provide all means necessary to get our boy back to his feet. We’ve also just received the results of his cytology report and FNA(fine needle aspirate) this morning; Scooby’s liver is inflamed but we’re unable to rule out bacterial or other infection. Based on all findings, Dr Kelly suspected an infection or sterile infection that is now resolving slowly based on his blood readings. We’re also able to rule out major concerns such as cancer. The infection/inflammation has also caused a congestion of the biliary tract, hence the cholestasis. So our main objective is to treat the infection. Scooby treatment plan remains the same and we’re glad for vets intuition of starting him on liver support early while waiting for the results. Scooby will be warded till his blood reading improves and when the vets are confident to withdraw him from IV fluids and intravenous medications. Even so, medical bills will unfortunately be snowballing and hence the team has been reaching out to potential partners for a fund raising drive. We’ll be launching the first fund raising campaign coming week! Apart from vet bills, we worry about where Scooby will be heading after his discharge.
