Good morning animal lovers!
Here is a video I took when Loki fox first came in. Update on him, he's doing great so far! I'll post more photos and videos when he settles in. Usually with foxes that time frame is a few months. Why? These guys, although domestic raised and not wild, are still wild. They need to learn im safe. That their new friends are safe...and they grieve the former owners. We give them a lot of comfort and grace for as long as they need.
Our copper wasn't having him at all but we have a female silver named Nyxie and she wasn't accepting of the others so she had her own space but she accepted him!! So now they all have a friend! We have reached out to our veterinarian to also get him neutered in short order. The former owner gave a donation to help with these expenses but if anyone would like to help sponsor vet care or food and enrichment for our foxes or any of the other animals, we would be very grateful! I work 3 jobs, 7 days a week, to MAKE SURE these animals have what they need always!
So any tax deductible financial support is a huge God send.
I also want to say thank you so much to everyone who commented and messaged after the passing of our precious Jessica bird. We aren't sure of her exact age but she was in the neck of 35-36 years old when we got her and we had her for an additional 11 years. I know she was rescued by 3 other families prior to us getting her. So her diet for the better part of her life is unknown. That plays a huge part in the lifespan, even if corrected later. I'm not saying that was an issue. But with rescues sometimes you just don't know and try the best you can. Someone asked why she passed so I just wanted to explain that she was at a minimum 46 years old, but could be older. Yes they CAN life 65 years but the average is 40-60, with 40 being more realistic and 60 being possible but less likely. Captivity gives them a better chance co.pared to wild, but also had a variety of variables that play into a shortened lifespan due to needs not being met.

If you'd like to sponsor a fox, we'll be posting individual photos and bios so you can meet who we have. Thanks everyone! We love you!

This is a hard one!
Today we said goodbye to our PERFECT, beautiful, gentle, loving, cuddly Jessica bird. For the last eleven years, she went from being a shy bird in a surrendered group of seven when their mama passed away and all of them were placed, but we kept jessica because she decided that she wanted to be a program bird! She loved nothing more than her car Rides and sitting on my shoulder trying to steal my snacks and then trying to puke on me.
I remember when I first moved into the building up here I went to the grocery store And when I got back, she had turned the radio from music to the Brewer game, then she ripped all of the buttons off so I couldn't change the station, and she was standing there within like an inch of her face and the radio. Just listening to the brewer game.
She taught so many people about how difficult it can be to have such a smart animal in your home and how trauma can affect them. She taught people that they can think and feel as strongly as children. She spent years greeting volunteers.

Oh my 'Jessie girl' (as she would quietly say to me, almost in a whisper) you're absence will be deafening. I kept going back to your spot to feed you Your favorite snacks all day and you weren't there. Now I won't be able to tip you backwards and blow on your tummy while you made silly noises. I won't hear you making water drip Noises, saying goodbye in a man's voice, making sounds like a truck is backing up anytime I'm getting in and out of my car. Making the sound of a zipper when I grab my purse. But it's all locked tight in my heart, and I will think of you often and I will laugh and smile. Not today or tomorrow but some day.

We all love you girl! XOXO,

Mom ❤️

This afternoon we are taking in Loki fox as a surrender. He's currently less than one year and the family got him at a farm swap.... I will be networking with pet owners who have gotten animals that turned out to be way more than they bargained for and the sellers or breeders were not upfront, forthcoming or helpful to make sure it was a successful experience.

The owner, who is regretful, said it was one of the worst decisions they ever made. They said it's like a toddler and they can't manage the continued care. They are giving a donation at drop off to help with continued care which a lot of people don't do and we will be in touch into the future to share the story of why this is not a pet.

I am grateful that I have the means to help the community with animals like this that cannot be released and would have no other place to go.

I will update with more pictures and videos later.

Good morning from the foxes! Today, despite trying fish tons of ways with no luck, the smelt was a hit! Reminds me of when I was an intern at the NEW zoo and fed smelt to the penguins. Happy memories!

Not many people know yet but a great property presented itself and we need to raise $1,500,000 to purchase. 7 acres, 7 structures and checks all boxes. If you'd like to help, this would all go towards our final OPEN TO THE PUBLIC rescue and educational facility. Right now we're working on grants but I think it's time to let you guys contribute if you want.

At Kingdom Animalia Exotic Animal Rescue we give refuge to animals who are unwanted, sick or injured and we rehabilitate them while also serving as an educational resource to talk about proper care, conservation, Animal careers and basic biology. We fund ourselves with adoptions, donations, educational programs, and merchandise sales. We are a 501c3 and we can give tax deductible receipts for all donations.

Can we beat last years goal? Share far and wide. 40 is my year! Let's get it done!!

We do not tolerate online bullying. If you have questions about what somebody is doing or how they are caring for an animal, simply ask them. Handle it with maturity. You didn't hear much from me for a good year or two on this page, because I was questioning everybody's motives since the people in question were spying on me and every time I would find out what name they changed it to and block them, they would come back with a new name. Twisting everything that I was doing or saying. When we lost Mikayla to su***de I decided i'm done hiding. None of us rescues have it easy. You don't realize the hard work and sacrifice that goes on behind the scenes. I cannot speak for anybody but myself, but I have not taken a day off and probably eighteen years. I work 3 and 4 jobs at a time to make sure that I have enough to support the rescue. The animals eat before I do and I get them the best foods that I can find in my area until I can grow my own at my final location. I'm doing the best with what I have at the moment. More support leads to faster improvements. None of us have to be perfect or do everything the way you would do it in order for us to be great and beneficial.

Almost everybody on here is wonderful, but for those who feel that they can come on to any of these rescue pages and throw shade because of your own insecurity or disappointment with your life path, jealousy or whatever... The buck will stop here and I will aggressively stand behind anybody who is being unfairly targeted. If this is happening to you or your organization, please reach out to me. I will help you through it. I know what it feels like.

I GOT YOU!
