Why matted dogs cost more for groomers? Please read this blog from another groomers point of view. We do not judge and want your pet to feel its best. We appreciate owners who understand the time and money it takes to work one your loved pets! ❤️🐾

Why do I, as well as must groomers, charge more for grooming a matted dog, since I am "just going to shave it anyway?"

We love our dogs very much and understand the love between owners and their pets! That is why we love being a one on one groomer. No cage time, no switch of groomer, plenty of time taken to make your pet comfortable!❤️

Just a reminder... due to the raising cost of blades we have a matted dog fee. It is an additional $50 fee added to your groom. Matted dogs take more time and can dull a blade after one groom. Matts are painful for your puppies. They can cause brusing and skin conditions that may require veterinarian care. We do not offer dematting services on extremely matted pets due to the pain of this procedure on your pet. If your pet comes in matted please understanding there is nothing we can do but shave it down and start new. We would love to help our clients learn how to properly comb their dogs between grooms.
