Less confident in the big, wide world than when all together in the kennels 🥰
As well as the kennel with six female labs, I helped look after two other kennels today- one with these two female chocolate labs and three female yellow labs. The chocolates are available and called Sharp and Cherry- they are scrumptious 🥰
Two of the yellow labs are also looking for homes; Shine and Lilac. Lily, the most nervous, was reserved today ❤️
The other kennel had two female yellow labs (Judy & Roana), a male yellow lab (Rocket) and two Bernese dogs (Gem & Dooly)- unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of this group 🤦🏼♀️ but they are available on the website 😁
This morning started with moving these beautiful ex-breeders from Ireland into their outdoor run so their kennel could be cleaned- the fluff explosion was post-clean out 🙈 but who could be cross with these faces 😍
They’re currently available for adoption on the Many Tears website- their names are Jewel, Jazzy, Zen, Jigsaw, Rocca and Rebecca. They will make beautiful family pets ❤️🐾
Just look at these gorgeous, golden, chunky babies 😍😍😍
These guys and gals ended up in rescue because the breeder couldn’t sell them 💔
Such a beautiful girl ❤️
Still wary of quick movements, yet leaning into ear tickles 🥰
I loved spending time with her today, even though she kept turning her kennel into a swimming pool by playing with her water bowl 🤦🏼♀️
Once they’d eaten, and had a clean-up, it was time for puppy snoozing, so I took this as my cue to leave 😄
But I’m back again tomorrow to do it all over again ❤️🐾
Cleaning the dumplings 🥰😂
It was a Very Important Job and I made sure to take my time doing it ☺️
Last on the dog walking rota this morning was Thalia, another lovely German Shepherd. It really was getting too hot by then, so we just wandered to some shade for a sniff.
Thalia isn’t very brave yet, and she wraps herself around your legs for comfort- very sweet, but not very useful when walking. Thalia will need people who can help her feel more confident in this new world she finds herself in ❤️

Next up was Logic, a 10 year old beagle. Just look at that swagger 😎
Logic was keen to just keep walking, as many beagles do when their nose is to the ground! Sadly we had to keep the walk short due to the heat.
He was a happy little chap 🥰 and is looking for his perfect home. I’ll stick a link to his profile in the comments below 👇🏻 please share 🐾
Spent the afternoon making friends with mummy cat- she refuses to go near the traps unfortunately, but is keen on sprats so that may be the way forward.
She’s a beautiful girl and I’m rather smitten with her now 🥰
