**UPDATE: Sadly despite the best efforts of the vets Nelly deteriorated rapidly through the night and crossed rainbow bridge 🌈. Very sad news for us all, RIP Nelly**

We are trying to locate the owners of this dog, she has been involved in an RTA on the A350 Chippenham. She is currently under the care of our vets and is being stabilised and having further investigations into her injuries. Anyone with information please contact us by emailing [email protected]

Many tears is looking for a full time vet or at least three or four days a week. No weekends or after hours, 8-hour days. We are looking for a vet happy to train the staff and any new vet wanting to volunteer and get some spay or neuter experience.
Yes, it is a lot of spays, but also other ops like c sections hernia repairs, entropion , Nasal wedges and sadly some times amputations.
In between neutering the vet would need to be happy to see the dogs with ear or eye problems or what ever else the dogs or cats may need to ensure their health.

We can negotiate pay depending on experience. We are based near Carmarthen Wales. We do have a place to live short term if you need to relocate until your perfect accommodation is found. Please contact Sylvia via e mail [email protected]

Can anyone help this dog? 🙏🐾

We posted Scooter a while ago with no success. The situation is now very sad and hugely desperate.
Scooters owner is terminally ill and will soon be entering end of life care. He lives in a small flat with an equally small garden.
Scooter cannot stay there...his owner now needs peace which he can’t get until he can see Scooter moved on to a safe home.
Scooter is a fabulous dog, great with people and other dogs but he is strong and has no manners having only ever lived with an elderly sick man.
We are looking for foster....doesn’t need to be adopter at this point but does need to be someone who can live with an over the top dog and help him calm down and teach him some manners.
Another dog might help...if female must be speyed.
No young children...he will knock them flying and we have no knowledge re small furries.
Please, please please help us to get Scooter into a different home asap 🤞
Extra info....he is around a year old and is in Corsham in Wilts.

Can anyone help these two old beans? 🤞🐾❤️

PLEASE SHARE - This is the sad story of Barley and Bean, two very special dogs who are looking for an equally special home. They recently came into our care after their owners passing, when they were left with nowhere to go 💔

Bean is a Westie cross who we believe to be around 13 years old, although there is defintely a chance that she is even older. She began life as a breeding dog before ending up with the breeders mother once no longer of use. There, she went almost fully blind and deaf, with a person who loved her. She made a good friend in Barley while living there and we received a call when their owner passed away to see if we could take them both in, which of course we did without hesitation. Needless to say, Bean is struggling with kennel life, a change of situation like this for any dog is difficult, but for one who can only see/hear a minuscule amount, it’s extremely tough. Bean relies heavily on her nose, she is also very arthritic, dare I say a little senile but still aware enough to enjoy all of the fuss.

Barley, who we believe to be a Papillon cross is around 9 years old, he is super confident, loves fuss and still has so much energy for an older gentleman. He is doing a very important job that we’re not even sure he knows too much about, which is being Bean’s rock. She is very reliant on Barley’s presence, even if she doesn’t display as such sometimes. When Barley had to pop into our surgery recently, she didn’t cope very well at all, we sat with her, comforted and cuddled her awaiting his return, because even if she can’t see or hear him very well, she still knows he is close.

We understand this is a big ask, but we now need a very special home for these two angels, to see out the rest of their days. They do not need any other dogs in the home, however they do get on well with others. As Beans time may be limited, they need someone who is going to be around a lot of the time and they do not cope well when alone. Experience with blind dogs is always a bonus and when Beans time does come, rest assured Barley would cope very well as an only dog.

My last job of the day was taking the beautiful Tia for a walk- this girl is full of energy! She wants to run!! Would make a great canicross dog I’m sure 👌

Other boring jobs today included “tidying” the bedding room (several large donations were dropped off today!), some admin involving vaccination cards and putting other donations away (including the stuff I’d brought along ☺️)

Next job of the day was cleaning these little munchkins out- I didn’t get the name of the mumma but she was very sweet and obviously her puppies were adorable 🥰

First up today- I cleaned the kennel out next door to these guys and then snuck in for cuddles in the afternoon- lack of photos of the poodle crosses as they just didn’t keep still 🙈 they were very sweet though!
