Guinness The Brindle Pug

Our sweet boy Guinness went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday evening. 🌈 He went peacefully surrounded by family, while laying under his favorite tree in the backyard. He was so very loved and the sweetest dog ever. We are going to miss him SO much. 💔😔 Guinness - Our Best Friend. 2/3/10 - 7/10/22.

Guinness's appointment went well yesterday! His esophagus looked great, the stricture didn't close from his appointment this past Friday. The vet said he doesn't need anymore endoscopy/balloon procedures unless he has any symptoms that the stricture is closing again. His appetite is coming back and he's eating much better! 😄

Guinness had his third endoscopy/balloon procedure today and it went well. They were able to open the stricture in his esophagus a little more. Although it did close a little from the previous procedure on Wednesday. They recommend he has at least two more procedures next week farther apart. He was able to come home this evening and enjoy some outside time with his little human sister and Sophie Pug. :)

Guinness had his endoscopy procedure yesterday and he's doing alright, just a little down from anesthesia. The vet specialist said he has stricture of the esophagus. They were able to open it with a balloon to 1cm. Pugs esophagus are usually 2cm. So he will possibly need more endoscope/balloon procedures and will be on wet food most likey for the rest of his life.

Waiting to see the doc to get an endoscope. My doctor is concerned about a possible stricture or Esophagitis. Keep me in your thoughts..

Still not over this ordeal yet. Down 5 lbs and unable to keep any food down for more than a few minutes. Seeing the doctor in the morning.

I'm having some trouble keeping food down and had a few more choking panic attacks. I'll be visiting my new vet this evening. Keep me in your thoughts!💗
