Please continue to care, volunteer, donate, and speak out against cruelty to animals. ** We are a Memphis, TN based rescue, but several years ago, moved 30 miles outside of town to a large piece of property as we grew and wanted to do more and help more animals. We are a foster based rescue, we do not have a physical shelter that is open to the public. Most of our foster homes are in the Memphis,

TN area, considered the greater Mid-South area, which can be confusing, but is a tri state area of TN/MS/AR. **

Go Granny! I am so happy to say it has been 7 months since Granny was rescued from that dark, cold, single digit temp icy road in rural MS. We have certainly had a lot of ups and downs. She requires monthly librela shots and daily meds that are hard to get her to take, and of course ... lots of chicken tenders. Taking care of senior dogs is very costly and requires around the clock care. All I can say is ... She is worth it!

We can't save senior dogs like Granny without your help. You helped Granny get this far. Thank you for all your support!

**UPDATE** While at the vet with Pixie and Pablo today, I got a messge that a great group, Old Dogs Go To Helen, wanted to take her, thanks to Joanne Hutchinson connecting us. This is a great fit for little Pixie. Special thanks to Dr. Alisha Hezel Arlington Pet Hospital for checking Pixie out. We love Dr. Alisha!

Victim of Dog Math last night ... You met Smokey Marshmellow ... You know I can't say NO to a senior dog. Now meet little ancient pitiful Pixie ... she is precious! Details coming soon. I agreed to be the safe place she could land to keep her from going to the shelter.

I desperately need an old dog or blind dog experienced foster for Pixie, while we look for a rescue, perm foster, or forever home. She is vision impaired, she either has cataracts or may be blind. I think she can see a little something. She doesn't let that slow her down and gets around fine. She is very comfortable with the dogs, they don't bither her and she likes laying next to them.

She is such a frail tiny old lady, she needs a foster that can keep her from getting stepped on by big unruly trainwreck puppies (the rottie brothers). She needs a senior dog rescue or sanctuary pr home that has only little old dogs and not a mixture like mine. With her vision problems, she doesn't know she is walking into a dog's face that is a grumpy butt and will snap at her and hurt her when she wanders onto their dog bed. No names mentioned but his initials are Snoop Dogg and he is in big big trouble right now.

Need A Feel Good Moment ... Here you go ... guaranteed to make you smile! Granny had a tough week, so off we went to see Dr. Grant at Shelby Center Hospital for Animals. The monthly librela shots have helped her a lot.

Pablo has been thru so much since being rescued 24 days ago. This senior dog was matted in filth & infested with maggots. His skin is still recovering. He had to have a stage 4 dental, with 15 teeth removed and oral fistulas (a hole where his canine tooth opens up into the sinuses). He has thyroid cancer, and the tumor can not be removed because it is too deep & goes into the thoracic area. He had to have surgery yesterday to remove a tumor on the inside of his eyelid that was rubbing his eye and causing pain. We are a small 501c3 non-profit rescue that relies on your kind donations to be able to say YES! to dogs like Pablo and provide the on-going medical care they need. Our vet bill balance is at $8,419 and this surgery hasn't been added in. The most stressful part of rescue, is trying to pay for the care and procedures these animals need, to put them back together again. Pablo deserves to live the rest of his senior life out in comfort. Pablo goes to vet in morning to have a tumor inside his right eyelid removed. It is rubbing his eye and causing pain. Alot has happened in 31 days, since Pablo was rescued from the streets in horrific shape. One of the hardest & most stressful parts of rescue is trying to pay for all the medical care to put these precious dogs back together again & keep them comfortable & fed. Little old Pablo has survived so much ... Now This! We got the test results back on the tumor in Pablo's neck. Sadly, it is thyroid cancer and cannot be removed because it is too deep into the thoracic area.
