All of my life I have had animals as parts of my family. They really make the best companions. They are always happy to see you, they don't judge and never stay mad at you. This is why I really enjoy drawing portraits of companion animals. I feel that it is just as important that our memories of our quadrupedal friends last forever. As a former veterinary technician, I have seen many people lose t

heir loyal friends and it is just as painful as losing a human friend. Although you can go out and adopt another pet, no one forgets their lost companions. They are all unique with their own personalities, just as we are. These portraits are dedicated to all of my past and present animal companions.

Only 2 days away…

I’m excited to participate in the Wenham Museum’s first-ever Book Flood this weekend on Sunday, December 10 from 12 – 4 p.m.! I will be there with my work, Sky’s Journey!

A Book Flood (or Jolabokaflod) is an Icelandic tradition dating to WWII. Icelanders read books and drink hot coco on Christmas Eve. This event will showcase nearly 20 local authors representing a variety of genres, like children’s fiction, YA, historical fiction, memoir, nonfiction, and horror will be there. This is a great opportunity to find your next great read or a wonderful gift for reader on your list. Books and hot chocolate will be available for purchase. This event is free for Wenham Museum members and is included with museum admission ($10 adults, $8 seniors and children) for the general public. Learn more here:
