🇨🇦Did you know that the Golden Retriever has a double-layer coat, which if shaved can cause alopecia problems?
The lower layer protects them from cold and heat, while the upper layer protects them from water, being longer and wavy, with fringes on the neck, chest, tail and behind the legs.
This is why shaving a double-layered coat should be avoided. Constant brushing is the best way to prevent shedding and keeps them fresh. 🫶🏻🦁✨🥰

🇲🇽¿Sabías que el Golden Retriever tienen un pelaje de doble capa, el cual si se rapa puede generarle problemas de alopecia?
La capa inferior los protege del frío y calor, mientras que la capa superior los protege del agua siendo está más larga y ondulada, con flecos en el cuello, pecho, cola y por detrás de las patas.
Es por esto que se debe evitar rapar un pelaje de doble capa. El cepillado constante es lo mejor para evitar que tiren pelo y los mantiene frescos.🫶🏻🦁✨🥰

🇨🇦Stripping is a grooming technique used mainly on dogs with rough or short hair to help them shed their old hair to give the new hair room to shine ✨😉 so using this technique properly can make your dog’s coat shine more than never.
She is Frijola, we only used the stripping technique on her fur and she turned out beautiful 🤩🥰☺️

🇲🇽Stripping es una técnica de grooming utilizada principalmente en los perritos de pelo duro o corto para ayudarlos a tirar su pelo viejo para darle espacio al pelo nuevo de brillar ✨😉 por eso usar esta técnica adecuadamente puede hacer que el pelaje de tu perro brille más que nunca.
Ella es Frijola, en su pelaje únicamente utilizamos la técnica de stripping y quedó hermosa 🤩🥰☺️

This is why you should be aware of your dog’s baths. Some recommendations are to have a special shampoo to bathe him every 2 months as well as to completely remove the soap with warm water. 🐶🚿✨🥰
