Today is a new day. Today, I’m hoping, I’m looking, I’m envisioning…getting this synopsis completed. I shouldn’t have much more to do. Then tomorrow, I will be able to finally pull everything together and begin submitting to publishing agencies…. this is only of course if a certain small black and white will stay off my lap, this process will be a lot easier.

It would seem that I’m writing two different Journal Entries in the same day. This may be the case, but they feel like two different days to me. My goal for writing tonight is to continue the editing of the synopsis. Now that I have most of my notes done for the editing. It is time for me to do some serious cutting

Today was a tough day for me. Work was about normal, but dealing with all that is going on right now, has been weighing me down quite a bit. There’s not much to be done about it, unless of course someone wants to give me a million dollars…that would solve nearly all my problems…for the time being.
But that is the problem isn’t it. The problems we face today, we will also face again. Nothing really changes. It is like we’re all cursed to run in a continual circle chasing our tails. Some people have nice tails and there arcs are wide, but most of us don’t and our circles are tight…and then there are some that have only stubs.
But enough of this philosophical bu****it. What I really need to do, is get working on editing and cutting down this synopsis. If all goes well, then I should have this done in a few days.

Today has been a long day. A lot of it was spent traveling (About four to five hours). And in three hours’ time, I’ll be heading out again. I did manage to get the part needed to fix the truck(that was an adventure in itself), I still have yet to find out what is wrong with the Blue Beetle, but hopefully it will be a relatively easy and cheap fix.
As for my writing tonight, I’m going to continue working on the synopsis. However much I get done, I get done.

Today was a busy day. I worked with someone straight throughout the day. This was a bit of a change. A good one, I believe. Anyway, during lunch today, I started working on the synopsis and my goal for writing tonight is to continue that.
On another topic entirely. A large tree branch fell down in the backyard, So tomorrow morning, I’m going to be cutting it up before work. This will hopefully be a fun easy project. But that remain to be seen.

It has been a couple of days since I have written in this journal. I have made some progress in the cover letter I have to write. All that is left is some editing and then writing the synopsis. It will be interesting to see how far I get by 8PM. Putting all of this aside, I did get a decent amount of work accomplished around the house. I deep cleaned the grill, put the backstop on the platform, burned some junk wood up and worked on the cutting boards. Then, I cooked dinner….and now to do a spot of writing before I have to leave to pick Barbie up at 9PM.

Today was an okay day. That’s all that can be said about it. Now as for my writing tonight, I’m going to be filling out and submitting the first form for publishing with a publisher. Personally, I don’t have my hopes up and I fully expect to be self-publishing by early November. But I wanted to give this route a chance first, since I’m determined this time not to leave every rock unturned. I’m going to try and tackle on or two a week. This will be an interesting and hopefully not to frustrating experiment.

So, it has been confirmed, Biden has dropped out of the presidential race. I wonder who will be running in his place and if they’d do as bad a job or worse than what he did.
Either way, I hope that whoever becomes our next president, that they would begin to change things for the better in this country, because right now, most people are barely holding on, dreading on what will be happening next. People need hope, they need a leadership that shows strength, courage, encompassing what it used to mean to be American.

It has been an interesting and long day. Now, I’m hoping to be able to get some writing in. So, I believe that I’m going to be working on the blog. I have a few ideas in mind, now that the rough draft is complete- I really have no more need for this particular blog series. Now that I have finished writing the first draft of the second book in the Crow series. I need to decide what I’m going to be doing next. I know that I had made a deal with myself, that I would hold off seeking and working on publication of the first book until the second book is done. Now that it is, I need to keep that deal with myself.
So this is what I thinking of doing. First, I’m going to find a list of publishers that are accepting manuscripts. I had a list about a year or so ago….I’m not quite sure what happened to it- I’m going to go through that list and see if any of them looking appealing…as in the manuscript would be a good match. Now when it comes to this, I need to be careful…there are a couple of places out there that want me to pay them to edit and publish my book. If it comes to this, I already have a plan in mind to go through Amazon; like I did with my previous books. This time however, I will be attempting to do things right and pay for a book cover, promotion etc. They seem to be reasonably priced and if I remember correctly, the last time I had talked to them about this, they were willing to do a payment plan, which is more fitting with my budget. But only time will tell.
For now, I need to find that list and start marking off names. I’m giving myself a week to do this.

Today was a fairly good day. Work kept me busy, but for once in a long time, it wasn’t overwhelming. Now as for my writing tonight, I need to decide on what I’m going to work on. Either I work on the blog, or I work on finishing the novel. I kind of want to do both and yet, I don’t want to do either. The one, I’m stating to feel a little suppositious about and the other I’m not quite sure where its heading
But I have to choose one….and that is….I don’t know. The novel I believe. I need to get this done. I have been working on this for about two years or more. It’s hard believe that I’ve been working on this novel for so long. Though, I believe that this does fit, since I started working on this right after I had gotten hired at Lowes.

Happy fourth of July everyone. My day has gone good for the most part. I spent time with family, then had a fire in the evening. My writing goal for today is to work in the novel. However much I get done, I get done. It will be a bit of relief to be writing with a rested mind, rather than an exhausted one.
Anyway, that is all I have for the moment …except for that my cat Garfield is trying to use my printer. I think he’s looking for a recipe for lasagna.

“I’m not going to talk about today. I’m just going to pretend that it didn’t happen. As for my writing tonight, I’m going to work on the novel. Now that I have the words that I want to say, I believe that it is time that I move on. Given that I have equivalent to four pages before I hit 50,000 words, there should be more than enough material to cover those remaining four pages and more (fingers crossed).
