Just because we have to suffer with daylight savings time messing up our daily rhythm… That doesn’t mean our cats have to suffer too! Try your best to adhere to an already established feeding routine, despite setting your clock forward or back one hour. Keep your cat’s feeding schedule consistent and on time.
If you free feed your cats, then you probably don’t have to worry as much, although… You are completely devaluing the food experience for your cats by allowing them to self regulate their eating routines. Feed your cats small meals frequently and whenever possible, give them their meals in a food puzzle to add enrichment to an otherwise boring and expected routine.

I’m heading to Oakland today to see why Maddie the has been peeing in the corners of a wall to wall carpeted apartment. In this case, urination outside of the litter box is in frequent and only happens once or twice a year, but as we all know getting cat urine out of carpet is very challenging so we are doing a prevention consultation today to make sure the environment is conducive for happiness and litter box success.
