If youโve been following us for a while, youโll remember the story of Belle ๐พ
We found her in May 2021 with a vaginal prolapse and a vulva hernia. Horrific to say the least.
After extensive life saving surgeries she not only survived, our brave girl thrived.
Matthias came into her life and has been fostering her since July 2021. Now shes Iiving her best life.
We love you, Belle. And we love you Matthias for giving this beautiful girl, a safe place to call home ๐ก ๐ @omatthaiso

We recently had the privilege of visiting ProEd Global School.
We set up an informative stall where we shared with the students the challenges faced by stray dogs in Bali, the importance of responsible pet ownership, and the work we do at BARC to help these animals in need.
The students were incredibly engaged and asked insightful questions. It was heartwarming to see their genuine concern for animal welfare.
A big thank you to ProEd Global School for hosting us and to all the students and teachers who made this such a rewarding experience. We believe that by educating the next generation, we can create a brighter future for all animals.

This is Donna.
She came to us many years ago with really bad case of TVT.
It's a cancer that causes tumors to develop, that are painful and bleeding.
With the kindness of this community we were able to get her the treatment she needed.
And now you'll see her causing chaos at the sanctuary, as she very much loves the attention from visitors.

BARC recently took part in an education program for kids.
Along with 3 other non-profits we spent the afternoon teaching these kiddos about animal welfare and our mission to save the beautiful Bali doggos.
It was a day of learning, teaching and having lots of fun and we canโt wait to do it again.

This is Mocca's story...
His previous owner kept him caged for over 3 years, it was no life for a beautiful soul.
A passer-by saw this and decided to do something about it. She faced the owner and after tense conversations, she was able to buy Mocca's freedom.
She wanted to find him a loving home, but its tricky here in Bali. So while the search continues, Mocca will be staying at BARC sanctuary.
He's getting his health back and learning to socialise with other pups.
We're so happy we could help turn Mocca's story around.
