Update. I found a wonderful rehabber near me to care for the 3 week old triplets. It was sad letting them go but they were so small and I wasn't equipped to handle any problems if they arose.

So we are new parents of triplets. To fill in the story...Neighbor had 5 trees cut down and they threw this nest out of the tree. So I brought a box over to check on status and put nest and all in a box. Left near closest area to neighbors on my side of the fence for 3 days ( bringing in from the cold and feeding the occasional pedialyte so they stayed hydrated) put out for 3 days but Mom never came for them. So here we are with triplets. Haven't named them but did paint a toenail on each to tell them apart. Made myself nervous yesterday when I forgot who got fed during a feeding because they crawled back together. They are doing well and now I can tell which has and hasn't been fed, etc...

Update: Squeak has been a free squirrel since March 2019 and is doing well. She visits our old home occasionally but now has a healthy caution to humans. She did come close to me today and didn't run away when I gave her a little pile of seeds to eat.

Update on Squeak. You may or may not know but we moved to GA a week ago. I think Squeak was freaking out about being left in the big cage for transport and wasn't having it. So when the truck stopped moving she wanted out. She did get out at our old house and we would like to tell you she has integrated well with the new spring squirrel pack that is around the area. We will miss her but on last sighting she was eating clover and climbing trees with others. It was a beautiful experience and we will miss her.

Just a little note so everyone knows I am still alive.... I am not being a nice girl lately..... Winter panic and protective behavior keeps Mommy from letting me out too much. I made her finger bleed last time... Im sorry Mommy. I can't help it. I get scared and don't want you to take my nuts. I need them. ALLLLLLL!!
