Just in the nick of time. We pulled a pregnant mama out of animal control yesterday. She has 3 puppies so far…
Foster or forever home needed immediately: we pulled this little girl out of a county shelter last week. She has been vetted and her leg was just a sprain. She is precious, sweet and young! We are full and we have her in boarding. We would love to get her out

Hello! My name is Minnie Lucille McDogglestuff, or Lucy for short.
I’m a Border Collie Sheltie Mix of awesome in a pint size 20 lb package. I am THE amazing co-piolot / passenger princess / ride or die you’ve been searching for. I LOVE to travel and I’m SO GOOD at it. I keep my opinions about your terrible driving to myself, don’t get carsick and barf, and I am an expert at hoovering up any left-over crumbs that fall out of your to-go order. Since staying with my foster mom, she’s taken me on road trips to South Carolina, Florida and south Georgia. I received 5 stars on my behaviors chart on all 3 trips.
I’m an awesome TriPaw, and while I only have 3 legs, you would never know that I’m not a miniature greyhound sporting a fur coat. I can run FAST and I do everything my 4 legged compadres do. I’m 1 year old, which is 7 in dog years….in case you don’t know dog math. I’m looking for a home where I can be the center of your world, or at minimum a human that makes me believe I am. A dog friend to play with would be a super cool too…okay, pretty much a requirement along with ear scratches. I will also require a fresh organic carrot as my pre-bedtime snack each night. I will eat my low-cal carrot while watching and judging you as you finish off that entire bag of Cheetos just before swimsuit season.
You’re probably wondering how I got here…. Last year I was either run over by a monster truck, an 18 wheeler or stepped on by an elephant. Anyway, my previous owner didn’t take me to the vet to get my leg fixed and the break was still broke and all the muscle atrophied. Then, I ended up at the shelter, because, duh, bad humans…. The shelter called up Releashed Rescue who took me in and paid a zillion dollars to the vet to got my leg fixed. Speaking of the zillion dollars, could each of you throw $5 RR’s way to help pay off my vet bill?
I’m good with all dogs and cats, and just so you know, I totally hang with the big dogs. My
Kenai says I am ready for my forever home!
ONYX UPDATE!! Please ignore the poor quality of this video. If they see me, they’ll stop playing. Maebel has been teaching Onyx how to dog. Her persistence and patience has finally paid off. He will finally play chase with her (her favorite game.) It makes me so happy I could cry. In Rescue, we are constantly bombarded with all the bad things happening to dogs. We hear the worst of the worst. We have heartbreak after heartbreak of just not being able to save them all. But these success stories make it all worth it. Seeing Onyx thrive and be happy gives me the strength to continue on. Because rescue is HARD!
When we brought Onyx into our home in July, I never in a million years imagined how far he’d come in 3 months. He was fearful and reactive. He was abandoned in a hoarder home with other dogs and no resources to survive. He had infected dog bites on his face and leg, from other dogs just trying to survive on minimal food.
He has become THE BEST cuddle dog. He loves sleeping with us and spending time on the couch watching tv. He isn’t very happy when his foster brother wakes him up in the morning. He prefers sleeping in. He could play with a Chuck-it ball for hours and hours.
We’re still working on trust and him being ok with being vulnerable. We’re working on his counter surfing. But mostly we’re just showing him love and security.
Can’t water the plants without letting Onyx get his drink from the hose. He’s a silly boy, who is patiently waiting for his forever home.
Onyx’s favorite time of day is when I head out to water the garden and he gets to play with the hose. He’s really settling in and showing his sweet side. He’s hoping for a home of his own very soon.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY FROM OUR PACK TO YOURS!
Rainy day enrichment for our pups!!!
Gomez is still looking for his forever home. His sisters have been adopted. He was a little sad at first, but he clearly loves his foster sisters. He’s such a sweet boy 🥰
He is 12 weeks old. Neutered and up to date on shots. Ready for the right family to come along and give him all the love he deserves.
Spotlight on DD. DD has been here since June 2022. She is the life of the party and loves most every dog in our kennels. She does have some resource guarding tendencies but we have been able to keep it in check with lots of structure. She plays well in the yard with all of her friends. We adore this sweet goofy girl. She’s playing with 2one-year-old knuckleheads, Ladd and Kirby in this video.
Someone Has to be missing this dog. Sven(named at the shelter) needs a new name. This dog is awesome. He can hold his bladder and poop forever. He knows so much, walks well on a leash and he is so loyal to his person. He is now following me everywhere! Let’s Give this boy a name he deserves. Ideas please!
Remember Thor, our puppy with 2 broken legs after being hit by a car? Well…he wants you to know he is doing well!!!! #FosteringSavesLives
Aurora needs a foster or a home. She gets back from training this weekend and she is ready for her forever home. Miss Aurora keeps doing an excellent job! We got to work on place, leave it and eye contact! While she was on her place we also played the It's Yer Choice game where I held out a handful of treats and only rewarded her for ignoring the food. She got it very quickly and then we worked in some eye contact. Aurora is a mixed breed with mostly husky and shepherd. Both she and her sister Jasmine have sponsors so their adoption fee is waived.
Graylynn is ready for her next swimming lesson. Could you be her teacher???
