Description: Black female kitty cat, adopted from a shelter in MO.
Is anyone missing a black cat? We believe this sweet kitty may belong to someone in the area.
We discovered them in our grge today, crying near our kitchen door. We suspect they’ve been hiding here since Saturday, as we found evidence of a cat over the weekend but couldn’t locate them at the time. We even left the grge open for the afternoon, thinking they’d leave, but they must have stayed out of sight.
This cat is very friendly, has a shiny coat, and seems well cared for, so we’re certain they’re someone’s beloved pet. They’re comfortable around dogs, know how to use a litter box, and show no signs of shyness.
If you’re missing your black kitty or know someone who is, please reach out so we can reunite this sweet cat with their family! They were found Beachside in the Ortona Community.

UPDATE: REUNITED!! Felix is home safe & sound after 19 hours, 42 minutes :)

After hours of searching, I put food and clothes and his scratching post outside and tried to go to sleep. Within 5 minutes my boyfriend heard a sound outside and he walked right in, with no remorse. I'm so grateful for all of your help and support"

Message from Owner: Felix is a neutered black short haired male cat. He is missing some fur around his mouth and has a streak of patchy grey on his back (missing fur). He's a long tom cat (13 lbs) with a big primordial pouch, 13 years old

Last seen around 6pm on Biscayne Avenue.
Very friendly but likely scared/skittish. Very food motivated.
I've had him his entire life. We just moved to South Daytona and I don't know what to do to help him find his way .

Message from Finder: we’re really trying to reunite this baby with their family so if anyone can please help us find it I’ve already got some A-Team people helping out since I’m kind of new to the area and I appreciate them but every little bit helps. Somebody is missing this baby and we’re starting to love it and so is our cat. I know if it was my baby I would want someone to find me.

Description: found this guy late Wednesday evening, crying and cold so we have it here on Virginia Avenue. We have posted signs in the neighborhood.
